This is why I LOVE and RESPECT Chunkz so much. He understands in islam the importance of your wife, and how she should come first in terms of RESPONSIBILITY. Because your mum is always going to have her own place but she is your fathers responsibility. Whereas your wife as soon as she becomes your wife is your first and main priority and responsibility to love honour and care for. Same with a husband for the wife! And to put your kids before your wife is crazy remember where your kids came from

@@robleyusuf6454this is why marriages don’t work. My oldest brother is over 20 years older than me and he is the one besides my mom I take advice from. When it comes to this question I listen to him and he says wife, kids and his mom. He’s the only one of my older siblings still married along with being one of the few people in my family still married and never divorced. Got with his wife at 15, they married at 32 and still together at 46 and going strong.

The wife will always be last as she will only be with you if it benefits her and that is the cold harsh reality you guys need to accept. Mother and child have an unconditional bond, that will be there regardless of age.

I agree. I think when you are growing and maturing you are going through the process of psychological separation from your mother (gaining independence, autonomy, developing your own identity). As a result, your mother is no longer your most important focus in your life (as it was in childhood), you focus more on creating your own family and providing for your own family. You are not attached to your mother that much (although you may still love her and appreciate her very much). I think that if a man is always spending time with his mother/asking her for advice/depending on her too much - that may be a bad sign, he might be too attached to her.

I think in reference to women being talked about/treated very poorly under Islam, it's more a cultural thing and many men use it to treat girls and women extremely badly.

Putting wife last is dirty work. Your mom is important don’t get me wrong, but your wife and children are now your direct family and should be #1 priority. Now, your relationship with your wife existed far before the kids, and will continue when the kids leave the house. How are you going to provide your children with a happy, healthy home if your marriage is lacking? Me personally, i’m not going to live my life catering to my mother when I have a wife and kids to take care of it. I’m also not going to live with a fear mindset that my wife *may* leave me. If you have any doubts about your relationship maybe you should address that before you get married. All this is not to say your mother becomes unimportant, she simply isn’t the first priority. Sharky is really my favorite, he’s the only reason I started watching beta squad 😂 SDS was getting heavily suggested in my recommended till one day I clicked on it and I was hooked. Haven’t missed a episode since 2022 and I went back and watched the ones before that. Sharky’s hosting skills are on point and his personality always shines through. So then I see a Beta Squad video in my recommended and I’m like “oh shit, that’s Sharky in it” so I click and yea I start watching Beta Squad. It’s also dope to see how Sharky gave all the SDS guys the platform to shine on their own, got guys on Sky Sports and collaborating with premier league clubs. LEGEND!!

It's amazing how anyone will put their wife last.... I, as a woman, know my children’s spouces and children should come before me. I don't really agree... Women can have met a girl yesterday and call her "my love", "my life" (I don't know if they say that in English too, I'm translating from what I hear in French lol) and lots of other words like that when they've known each other for barely 24 hours 😅 And so it doesn't surprise me that these kinds of relationships end quickly... so I wouldn't call them quality friendships
