Even some of the riders using these bikes for uber/ola moto as well. Don't know how they are doing but once my frnd booked uber moto and the person came on zypp bike even with 2 green helmets.

The sharks are right. It's really hard to make money in this segment unless they somehow achieve massive scale. But good to know that they are surviving and expanding for now.

Zipp has good hold in delhi on delivery vehicles..its really good for the purpose it is made.

I don't know why they didn't get the funding but right now ZYPP is doing good and scaling very well

I love the zypp ev scooter. I often take a ride from metro station to office. It is not fast and have a sense of safety. The Rapido bikers ride their hero splendors in high speed and that don't make me comfortable as a pillion rider.

Can't understand why these EV manufacturers brag about pollution free/ environment friendly features. In India we manufacture 70%+ electricity from coal, which have very low energy efficiency in comparison to internal combustion engines with ethanol blended fuel. Even if we ignore power loss due to transmission in electricy, the production also releases high amount of Sulphur Dioxide and Carbon Monoxide in much more quantity in comparison to petrol engines. In EVs we just shift polution from multi source to point source that too in a less efficient manner.

Zypp is good but I believe they will going to face very stiff competition once other reputed EV players comes in.

i know flipkart is using local logistics partners who use EV threewheeler and just one man is delivering an autofill of deliveries in a day. putting a small bike might be good idea from investment but as they scale they would have lot of burnout in managing the deliveries. so less drivers with more load should be the model like 1 driver per ton of load. next, they should focus on selling bike as well. this unit looks like copy of some Chinese bikes. still bit better design and this should sell easily in tier II & III cities. or to local delivery partners - which I guess they are doing but the model is incorrect.
