Honestly while I was editing and saw the way he recorded I had to stop. I just sat and smiled at what a sweet job he did. I am so glad you noticed and pointed it out. It really was the sweetest thing to see.

Dear Bonnie I love to watch your videos of your family they bring me joy. Please do not throw away the clock of the sun keep it because in twenty years yes there will be a new gadgets but that will be your special one for your grand babies when they come over to your house they will love it. Just as your mom does with all the grand babies she have saved the toys from all her children for her grand kids to play with. Thank you for sharing your life with all of us!!! Blessings!!

I love you guys! You & Joel are so cute...He works hard for your family. It's wonderful to see the progress on your new home. It has to be bitter sweet...My mom has a big selection of dvds. Now the great grandbabies are watching them as well. It's hard to know what to keep & get rid of. My parents moved to a different home. After 42 years. It was unreal how much they accumulated over the years. It was hard for my mom to downsize. She STILL has things in boxes. Because she just would not part with her "things." Good luck Bonnie!

We have that exact gro clock. My son used it he is 12 now. My daughter is 7 and uses it a few years now she still loves it. Worked better for her then my son.

I say if something is sentimental to you, you keep it. Yes it might take up some space, but those are things you can always get rid of but can't get back. Even if you were to find a replacement down the road, it's just not the same.

So cool the inspector appreciated Joel's work!! Did you or were you there on the previous house you guys bought and redid when it got inspected? I was thinking about that when you were telling us your story. As for toys, CD, DVD's, VHS and cassette tapes etc, I have a collection like crazy from my dad and mom now passing away along with 20+ yrs of our own. So overwhelming. I even have toys that were mine and my husband's that we thought our kids or their babies some day play with or learn by. Well, my children are now 21, almost 19 and 17. They didn't play with them then and they don't want them later. I don't know what to do but get rid of them I guess. It is hard to get rid of memories like that. My mom passed away of dementia 10-15-22 and I miss her so much, she was my best friend for 30 years!!! 😭💔

I’m so sorry about your mom. 😢 I’m glad you have good memories of her. I agree it’s hard to get rid of things that are tied to memories. Sometimes I will take a picture of those things to remember them. Or with your old toys, you could take a picture of yourself with the toy. Then you could get rid of most of them and still have the photo as a reminder.

Ok the inspector that was supposed to inspect our home never went under the house period! He said the house is in top shape. Newer plumbing under house . Turns out the plumbing under our house was so bad. Basically inspector lied. We tried going after him and found out there was nothing we could do about it. Not on Oklahoma. Glad you had a great inspector

I know she knows but Bonnie is so lucky. The odds that you would met the love of your life in high school, then marry your high school boyfriend, have four kids and stay happily married for a long time is so rare. You can just tell how in love with each other they are/ Their love story is what Nicholas Sparks writes books about. I hope their kids also grow up and realize how lucky they are to have parents so in love and find their own love stories like their parents.

Keep the toddler clock. You'll have fond memories anytime you come across it. And one day when you have grandkids and they do have something better, then throw it out. Savory that memory. My kids are 21 and 17. I only have one blanket and their coming home outfits left. I wish I had saved a few more things.
