Good review. I returned my Shark AV970. It turns out there was no way to get it to clean our entire house. After doing about 1/3 of the house it had to return to charge. It would then start again to resume cleaning the next 1/3. After that it would think that it was done. On examining the map it created it was clear that the map was a complete mess and inaccurate. Possibly the vaulted ceilings were throwing it off. I am going back to a LIDAR based robot.

Yes that sounds like what the issue is. My issue with camera based robo vacs.
just ordered one , damaged box for 120.. we shall see how it goes.
Hello How can I use this robot vacuum cleaner in a multi-level house? Do I have to have one for each floor or is there a configuration I can make to tell it which floor it should work on?

You can just move it from floor to floor. The map it makes is a live map while it is cleaning. So it does not store the map on the robo vac to use later.

Have 2 cats, so this helped.
This is the most aggravating piece of crap that I've had to deal with in quite some time. Hard to program , drops in and out of Wi Fi with the router 3 feet away from it. It will only run if you push the clean button and will only run for about 5 minutes and has to return to the charging station. The App is out dated and is not compatible with my new Android phone and will not work with my wife's new iPhone. The Shark help line is a joke. When I started to look for another brand of robots, The store cages were packed FULL of Shark models of all types with other brands were out of stock or nearly out of stock with high volume sales of others. Amazon is gonna get this one back.... A testimonial of how poor the Shark products are. Never again.....
Marring furniture is a no go for me plus this seems weak and lightly brooms only the top of the carpet. Hard pass, good video! Nothing beats hard work and elbow grease! Being lazy or taking the easy way out in life usually has consequences lol Money no object which robot vacuum would you recommend out of curiosity 🤔 😅

Things like this are just to cut down on the day to day hard work. Helps free up time for me to make youtube videos. Defiantly does not replace a good deep cleaning. If given the option right now I would have to say the Wyze Robo Vac: kzread.info/dash/bejne/aJxn3MSAeMiemKQ.html. It has been the best I have tested so far. I would love to recommend iRobot self emptying but they are pretty pricey.

@@shanew7361 That one looks pretty good but I can only talk about ones that I have personally tested. My suggestion might be checking out kzread.info. They test just about everything out there.

@@Wanderer001_ReviewsI have this one. And one day I went to work and put the robot to clean while I was away and my husband was home working. I saw on the app the robot worked for like an hour and a half a little bit more and used 50% battery. It cleaned 3 rooms medium sizes and then went to the dock itself. When I went home I only cleaned the bin because is sattisfying too. The house looked pretty clean. It will never do a deep clean but it will clean my dog's hairs so that they don't hung around in bunches. I am liking it but I don't want to fall in love with it if there is a better option out there with this ones price. In compared to the one on the link ,do you recommend me to change it or keep mine because for some reason?

@@ronilda2231 Key words are at this price. That will be very hard to find. I would keep this one and enjoy not having to pick up pet hair.
