i already saw this sharks in south of Portugal, Algarve but the Hammerheads are more common to see close to the beaches there...

Y’all need to learn what a blue shark looks like, this a sandbar shark. Blunt nose, small sharp eyes and a tall dorsal. Blues are basically torpedo-shaped; long and skinny, with big obvious eyes. Idk why everyone’s saying it’s a mako or a blue smh

Blue shark. The Mako shark has completely black eyes and a more open jaw with more visible teeth.

I was diving off Alicante Spain in 1976 with a German friend & a couple of other nationals when a Great White was purported to be in the area as for food I believe there are some big Tuna out wide.

It is a carcharhinus type of shark, not a great white, blue or mako shark.

This is the Tapas Shark famous for being late, permanently insolvent, and soiling ashtrays.

Thank goodness it's just a blue shark never overly agressive just looking at their expressions. My friend once called them the goofballs of the Sea. And not a more dangerous. White or Bull.

It is not a blue shark dude. They are one of the esiest sharks to destinguish. They are realy fin, with long nose and uper tail and the color should be diffrent. This is some Reef shark or Sandbar shark. Just generic loking shark. Could also be Blacktip, Spinner, even Bull but it is most certanly not a blue shark.

That’s a drum line - to catch and kill sharks - the shark is hooked up and panicking when the canoes approach - at 1:09 you can see the hook in the corner of the sharks mouth.

Good observation mate, I was about to say the same thing if nobody had already mentioned it. You can clearly see the hook right in the corner of the mouth.

Fake for sure... I am dutch and these people are speaking dutch. The only thing they are saying is I would like to look under water. Even the boy said that really calm. When there is actually a shark near you you dont react like this... Great video editing tho

Its most certainly not a great white or any other of the mackrel shakrs subspecies like makos. It is very clear upers side of tail fin is much longer then lower so it one of the generic looking sharks like some of the Reef sharks or could be Sandbar shark 'couse dorsal fin looks to be over the pectoral. No way to say exectly here but it is most certanly not Mako or Great White. It is also not a Blue shark for, they are much more thiner and longer looking and have much longer nose.

That's fake it's a grey shark or a leuca one but it's impossible to see those species in the north atlantic

It's a huge shark, some people think is a white shark (because of the color) but it's a mako shark. Very hard to find close to the shore line since it is an open water transatlantic type of shark.....Fake haha...try next time with a small tintorera most likely to find in the Mediterranean

Where does this say it’s in the Med? That jaw didn’t really look like a mako. It appeared too broad. I’m not going to pretend to be an expert and say what it is but a mako has a pretty distinct head

FREEZE FRAME THE VIDEO FOOTAGE AT 1.08 AND IN THE TOP RIGHT-HAND CORNER OF THE FRAME YOU CAN QUITE CLEARLY SEE THAT UNMISTAKEN WHITE UNDERBELLY OF A GREAT WHITE SHARK AND THE POINTED SNOUT WAS ALSO A REAL GIVEAWAY HERE. REALLY COOL VIDEO FOOTAGE.

No mate check the eyes. They're white. You can see the pupil. You do get great whites in the med tho for sure

Look again mate. That ain't a GWS. Look at the eyes, the lack of a conical snout. Eve just the colouration. It's not a GWS, not a Blue. I wouldn't swear that it's a Sandbar shark. But you'd have to get clearer footage to be sure.
