Yes sir you are 100% correct,due to jealousy of Lata Monji (seed in odiya) whom we hate because of her dirty mono tonous voice who was like fuck in Sachin Tendulkar never allowed other better singers like Sharada Ji whose golden heavenly voice can never be compared to ordinary street singers like Lata moanengeshkar urf Lata Monji whom in film industry hated yet unable to say publicly any thing to Lata Monji.As for Asha Bhosle all Indians and the world loved her unique sexy voice which she alone possess.No.1 Sharada 2) Asha Bhosle .These two should have been Bharata Ratna.Unfortunately Field Marshal S.H.F.J .Manekshaw who made 93000 Pakistani prisoners to surrender was also not given the Bharat Ratna award.

I am a great fan of Shardaji. She had a unique melodious voice. Evening in paris lei ja lei ja, Chaley Jana jara thehro, , Janey bhi dey sanam around the world, janey chaman sholay badan are most unique songs . Even this song has a heavenly echo reverb heart rendering touching. Mr Rock and King have rocks in their head no sense of music and voice.

My friends M. KIng & Mr. Rock, You must learn to respect elders. Shardaji gave some superhit songs during the 60s & early 70s. She even composed music for a few films though not very successfully. I still cherish her songs.Who can forget her songs from films like Suraj, Gumnaam, Ek Nari Ek Brahmachari, Jane Anjane, Naina, An Evening in Paris, etc? Like with everybody else, age has caught up with her.

Am amazed Sharda has held her own in the field of singing. Kudos to her!! She gave the other singers a complex which wasn't taken very well, I feel..

Sharda's distinct voice is unparalleled. Nice performance here but all her original recordings have that exceptional tone and sound that is her trademark and can't be copied by anyone else, unlike Lata Mangeshkar who has many sound alikes.

@sanjay puranik Anuradha Paudwal is resonant of Lata, and there have been many contestants on Xfactor India, Indian Idol, etc who have been fabulous singers, no doubt and there's even a male singer who can copy the sound of her voice. You will find many examples like these on KZread channels
