I mean... there was an edit right before asking for the phone to make it seem that way. Not hating, he does appear to be an awesome dude. Also, what if the guy wasn’t FaceTiming his wife? There had to be some sort of clarification within that edit. Because he wouldn’t have said “wait... hold on hold on. Give me your phone”, unless he knew for sure exactly who was on the other end. But who knows, just a thought

Shaq is possibly the most genuine person on the planet. He's never allowed his success and fame to go to his head. This is a beautiful Koi pond and I'm sure he and his family will have many great nights by the fire. Running water is very soothing to the soul!

This is so cool I love that Shaq got the fish from big fish rescue, they are located by me and its sad to see all the fish that go there because people weren't prepared for them to get as big as they do, big fish rescue is heaven sent as well as Shaq for these big fish and many like them. Shaq you really are a good soul, big fish rescue you all are amazing for the work you do ❤️❤️❤️❤️

This is so heartwarming. A truly loving human deserving of this gorgeous pond to enjoy. He gives so much to others and seeing this being a smile to his face makes it all worth it.

Honestly one of the best ponds I have seen. Fits the landscape perfectly and I love how they are bringing nature into what would otherwise be just a grassy field.

I think it’s classy that Mr. O’Neal calls out the individual members of the group to say thank you and meet them. That’s the sort of person that can be part of a team - or lead the team. I feel like we got a cool insight into his personality ✨

I love how Shaq can be so chill. He could be these people that were poor and become snob and arrogant players that exit out there. He is simple, friendly and seems a nice person to hang out with. Great pound by the way.

When he heard she was in the hospital. You could see him change into care mode and can tell he was super sincere. He could’ve just said I hope she’s feeling better but no he took over to make sure she got the proper get well and thanks. Much respect from me.

Shaq seems like a super nice person and when he says something, it holds weight. He doesn't seem to give empty praise, which makes when he does it means a lot more than a typical person. Shaq was CORRECT when he asked if goldfish and koi are related. Pond guy said no, however, they’re both breeds of Carp. Goldfish of Prussian carp and koi that of common carp. They are extremely closely related.

Comet goldfish is a breed of crucian. Prussian carp kind of like an asian area crucian. We call that asian area breed. Carp and crucian are both fish but they are not relatived fish. Like goldfish and crucian are related coz goldfish is a selected version of crucian. But carp and crucian are two independent species that can be seen in wild environment.

Shaq came through my hometown a few years ago, saw a kid in a sports uniform walking down the street and stopped to hang out with him. He made a few stops while he was here. Sports figures should take a page out of his playbook. Especially the ones that act like Jordan. He has been in my hometown plenty of times, he has a business here, I've never heard anything good about him. Shaq you are an incredible person!
