I think if Shaq did not have money, he worked as a truck driver or any thing he would still show compassion to people. I believe it is not money that makes him generous but his heart.

my Shaq story, I work for NBC here in Houston, and we had the All-star game one year. Back stage at the shark bar, everyone wanted a pic with Shaq, SO i'm holding everyone's phone taking their pics, and when they were done everyone scattered, I'm like damn I wanted a pics too, then Shaq said hold on, let me take a pic with my man first. so of course everyone was rushing to get my phone so they can take the pic, Classy guy

Many years ago, I was at a store. The only people in that store was me and a father with his 7ish yeah old son. Shaq walked in and the child immediately recognized him. Shaq noticed the dreamy look on the child’s face. So, he walked over to the child, messed up his hair (lol) and kneeled down to have a conversation with the kid. No one was around, he didn’t have to do that, but he’s shaq. He’s an incredible person.

That can make a person that is down on their luck feel like a million bucks. RESPECT! As the world is buzzing by everyone people can feel overwhelmed, lost and sad but someone who stops, shows compassion, does not judge, criticize, or lecture but simply takes time to listen, engage and smile makes the world a better place one person at a time.

Shaq's step dad whom he just calls dad bc he was his dad in every sense of the word sounded like an amazing man. When I heard the story how his dad told him " this year I cant get u anything for christmas " bc he had to get for the younger siblings something to open on christmas & asked shaw to understand. Then his dad showed up with a ball signed by his idol dr. J was such a beautiful story. Grahm bensinger really does a great interview. He asks good questions & does not interrupt I see why he has gotten interviews with some of the best athletes & people.

You might have given in secret, Shaq but God saw you and loved you for it. Those who give to others so men can see them and praise them already have their reward. They are exactly as you described. You have yet to receive yours so be as God would have you be. We can do no more in life then to live as Jesus would have wanted us to.

Who in the right mind can dislike this video?? Shaq/Dr.Oneal! Is a fantastic man! I’m glad he is doing the right things that his parents taught him. This shows on how much he values his parents and on what they say. Then he is proving everyone wrong. Kudos to you man! You put a smile on my face shaq/Dr.Oneal. You definitely earn the most upright respect !
