@@C4pungMaster in Indian classical music, each raag has a pronunciation. Like Do, Re... of western is called Sa, Re in Indian classical music. These are names given to the sound. However, there are no percussion sounds in western music. But Indian music has pronunciation/utterance for each taal or beat which corresponds to either a bass drum or a sharp pitched drum or a combination. So a name is given for a percussion sound. This is also used by dancers as they dance on these taal or beats. And a combination of different types of beats producing a specific combination is also given a name. And there are several such specific combinations which are taught and practiced. Just like Raag is a combination of different swar ornamented in different combinations and proportions. So, in this video, the utterances which are not words in English are all those utterances which are for percussion quite usually used here in india by musicians.

We might have been separated recently, but our cultures are still the same. It won't just erase because some foreigners decided to draw lines on maps. Both singers have amazing voices and singing skills but there's something totally magic about Aditya's voice - so deep and warm, flowing effortlessly.

Wow both Aditya & Vinod Krishnan's voice is simply adorable ❤️ My 6 yrs old son loves this version over the original one. Every morning he asks me to play the Indian Raga version. His favourite is Vinod Krishnan. Just loves his voice ❤️

manoj ayyagari well as a student of Hindustani classical myself, I can tell you that unnecessary hostility towards anything western is a very regressive stance. ofcourse the west has enormous amounts to teach us. the problem that you are referring to isn't that people are choosing western over Indian, the problem is that people are choosing mediocre crap over genuine things. that's the problem. the problem arises when instead of choosing say western art and philosophy people choose Justin beiber. Or similarly instead of choosing Carnatic/Hindustani music they choose Bollywood crap. that's the problem..being anti-knowledge, and settling for the mediocre..no knowledge is truly Indian or western or American or Chinese..true art or knowledge comes from openness and syncretism.
