Shaolin Kung Fu Power Training Workout 🔥 - How to Generate Maximum Power for Your Punches 👊

Спорт

Happy Wednesday everyone!
Today Shifu Yan Xin (34th Generation Shaolin Disciple) share with us 5 Traditional ways where we work on our stances to generate power from the ground to our body then to our punches. This training will help you maximise the power you have and unleash that power out through your punches.
The 5 Stance and Punch Training are:
1. Ma Bu (Horse Stance) Punch
2. Gong Bu (Bow Stance) change Ma Bu (Horse Stance) Punch
3. Gong Bu (Bow Stance) change Gong Bu (Bow Stance) Punch
4. Pu Bu (Crouch Stance) change Gong Bu (Bow Stance) Punch
5. Xu Bu (Cat Stance) change Pu Bu (Crouch Stance) Punch
If you would like to know more about the above stances: courses.kungfu.life/courses/s...
Hope you enjoy this simple but powerful Stance and punches workout!

Hello sifu! I hope you are doing great! I have a question. In the past I have had several injuries to the backs of my legs behind the knee. Since then I have reinjured the right one because of thinking I was better. Now in the past fee months I have begun my kung fu practice again and am feeling great taking baby steps getting stronger every day. Horse stance, goat stance and cat stance are all great and are rebuilding the muscles in the fronts of my legs but I am afraid to stretch in any way and hurt myself when I've come so far. I was wondering if there was anything you could demonstrate that might help with that? Gentle qi exercises to help with flow in my legs? My acupuncturist told me I hold a lot of heat in my legs. I feel I am on the right track in a lot of ways with food and herbs but just thought I would ask you because there is no one near me that can really help with the physical. Idk if any of that makes sense. I apologize if I am in the wrong for asking that directly and I don't mean to try and put you on the spot or anything. Thank you for all you do sifu. I love training with you the best I can. Amituofo!

Probably not due to this form of exercise taught in Northern Shaolin called kung-fu that was once Central Province does not cater to the disablement of knives. For that, you need to learn gung-fu from Southern China. However, there are several karate systems that teach it also. But it is not meant to disarm gung-fu martial artist.

Well if it is a jab from the top and he/she use left hand, then use your right rising block to block, then use the same hand to grab away a little bit his/her wrist from the inside so that the knife will not reach you then use your free hand to go from the inside back of his/her arm then lock it to your left hand Edited : you can use it vice versa and you need to be fast in order to be effective Note:when practicing to your partner do not apply force to each other and your partner must not resist because it may broke his/her bone

If you can tolerate a little Indian humor and you look like the kind of fellow that can handle it .. and I mean no disrespect I really enjoy your friendly nature ....Anyways I see that you show several very important principles here. one would be an old humorous saying that we have here in America is that if you want to take a shortcut to China just start digging ....and I can see from your practice that you do quite a bit of that very well so maybe this is a shortcut to to becoming rooted steeped and firmly planted in Chinese kung fu which is a good thing. but you know you're going to have to bring a shovel with you every time you practice and a rope and perhaps a ladder. And do it maybe a shortcut it's going to be a long time before you get to China. But along the way you are certainly planning some wonderful seeds of an art that is very dear to my soul. I would like to recommend though that you study Hung Gar a bit more than you have touched upon for your punches are lacking a very essential part of the power that you are seeking to put into them. And maybe you show this to more advanced students so forgive me if I don't know that you do that or that you know what I'm about to tell you. In Hung Gar our power comes into play at the end of the punch where we actually channel the chi at the last moment of contact in penetration as we turn our fist like a tiger closing its claws into flesh... Our punch literally crushes bones shattering and ripping them out of the body and driving them deep into the cavities of the body as we rotate our wrists and our hand at the end of the stroke. You are not doing that. This is useful in cavity strikes to destroy organs. Hence the old saying one punch one kill. Unlike many forms of karate which moves the fist in a rifle-like spiral all the way through the that's wasting much of the power of the punch with the notion that we would pick up speed by the rotation like a bullets flight ... Which is a misconception entirely. And can fracture bones in the punchers arm upon impact thus causing spiral fractures which are the worst type of breakage. sehingfranciswinddragonschool@gmail.com teaching Only Traditional American Indian Tracking and six Traditional martial arts including Bujinkan Ninjutsu. I TRUELY enjoy your gifts you give us.

This is Northern China Shaolin kung-fu and not Southern China gung-fu. So this is not martial arts bc the practice of it will not produce 'chi' but it should beat anyone that does not know Martial Arts unless they are a professional boxer
