It’s mandarin but he has a regional accent.

The problem with the Chinese is, they long stopped getting involve in competition & that's why Kungfu is dying it's partly their goverment's fault by institutionalising the temples & standardising San Shou, they've put the nails on traditional Shaolin sparring plus on the Taichi & other so called familly styles, keeping things in one family is like a death sentence - the family dies or fatten itself or moved the Canada, so does the Kungfu. If you want to keep your soldiers fight ready, the only way is to let them FIGHT! That's why US, Royal Marines & French Legionaires are constantly fighting. They don't fight, they wouldn't have the gut to use what they've learnt. The Kungfu has all the deadly moves you ever need - when you start fighting regularly, all of a sudden you'll realise how to apply it & trust me you won't need an instructor to explain the applications! These guys don't fight that's why it takes them too long to remember what move to use against MMA fighters. Look at st Sanchae the Muai fighter, because he fights regularly, yet his range of movement is limitted to what Shaolin have, yet he is on top of his game! Still western boxing where kicks are not permitted, why is it that boxers have better reputation for defending their arts & not Kungfu masters? The answer is I think because boxers do fight & Kungfu masters don't!

The neutral punches are not neutral even stillness is not still when it is represented by symmetry...The fact that Shaolin is allowing demonstrations on youtube puzzles me. It begs the question that, If a once secret form of combat training is is allowed not to be secret, what changes are they expecting? And why? If you brush this statement off, and say "I'm not expecting any changes. This guys crazy" Then I'll ask you, where you've been hiding the last 115 years?

They are no secrets by now. Every form/kata is published in public. In previous years, others have not the knowledge of these and they tried to make them secretive.
