This is glorious, I've been looking for "learning powerful methods to build your Chi energy" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried - Fellmeroni Rudimentary Chi - (just google it ) ? Ive heard some great things about it and my neighbour got great results with it.

thanks for the video, i can use that. What I would like to add is that when you lift something up, muscles are tight. But even if you put something down, the muscles are tense. And that's why blocks work well too. because the muscles are not only active during the attack. That is one of my favorite wisdoms of fighting arts. And in my eyes it fits very well to the snake style. Greetings from Germany :)

It is the same as any other martial arts...It is always about the circle. Crane, Mantis, isshin ryu, all martial arts are about mastering the circle. Look at the arm movements here...Circles, look at crane, wax on, wax off, Mantis uses these same circles for defense and strikes. Mastering the circle is the main part of any martial art.

  • @entertaichi

It's not so much the circle. Rather it's the arc that is created by the circle. So you will see lots of semi circles as well.. The reason is because arcing motions redirect the energy back to your opponent.

You simply asked "hat about a long legged kicker? Do you switch styles to accomodate?" Are you asking is snake better to use than say dragon?? I am not sure what you are asking... Are you talking about range vs close quarter? Finally what part of the video are you talking about? I didn't see any kicks in this video. Help me help you... Sifu Larry

Nice video, thank you. However the one watching this should be aware of the fact that the instructor here is trained and skilled martial artist and his hands and forearms are conditioned (you can hear ouches each time his partner gets confronted 😀 ). You can learn the sequence maybe even a speed and accuracy but without conditioned fingers and hands this is rather not very effective in my opinion.
