Bobby deserves some respect for having him on and having his back. I know Bobby isn't the spokesperson for Asian people but Shane's relatively new and Bobby's a legend, to have him on the show and give him his seal of approval is a grown man move.

I disagree on the premise that there aren’t funny comedians on SNL My take is that Shane was already too good to waste time on SNL away from perfecting his standup. As a fan of him before he got picked, I thought it was an odd fit even though I was happy for him. Sketch artists should do SNL/Key&Peele. Stand up artists should focus on standup (the better of the two comedian lanes imo)

Somehow I miss this episode and had to come back to it and OMFG!!! Shane Gillis is one of the funniest people on the planet!!! I think that not getting the SNL gig was the best thing for his career and he's going to be a huge massive star!!! This podcast made me realize I need to go binge watch Matt and Shane's secret podcast immediately!!!
