This is what happens when a young standup becomes a master of his craft. He toys with the expectations of his audience and makes them laugh at things they might usually find offensive. Because he understands that disagreement these days is generally looked at as some kind of crime. This is one of the greatest comedy specials of all time in my opinion

OMG… it's about five minutes after you paused Shane and I'm still laughing and crying! If I wasn't cracking up at Shane all I had to look at either one of you and it just kept fueling itself! I just found you guys a couple days ago and loving you both! Keep it up!

He wasn't lying tho, football down here trumps everything. It is the olive branch in any conversation & the bridge for all divides. Another fun/odd/sad fact about Alabama segregation, High Schools weren't desegregated until the late 70s. As behind & racists as that sounds, the relationships today & the natural vibe between black & white residents of Alabama is strong & nothin but LOVE!
