Shane Battier is that type of player any winning team need. The quiet, professional type that has zero ego and brings a lot of effort, smarts and intangibles to complete any championship squad. Glad he gets some recognition for a change. Salute to Shane B!

I remember that 27 game winning streak.. crazy streak.. they almost caught up to the lakers streak.. and then the Chicago bulls ended that streak that year and that was a good game 🔥🔥

Shane Battier is ridiculously smart, heard he was one of the first guys who started studying analytics. He wasn't a flashy crazy athletic player but his basketball iq helped him star in his role

Shane could for real start a business teaching these young guys in the league how to conduct themselves. He's a super professional, no ego, does the dirty work and does not complain. Basically the opposite to a lot of current low iq players who value only highlights.
