Honestly it was fine. Yes we had rain and cloud but I’ve had it worse in the Maldives. I wouldn’t hesitate to go this time of year again. I prefer more sunshine but I loved Mauritius. I’m sure it’s a lot more expensive to go in their summer months.

Thanks for the great video! We are considering flying to Mauritius and this hotel in October. I have read a few times in reviews that the airport/airplane noise is annoying. May I ask if you recognize any noise from the airport? Kind regards from the City of Kiel (north Germany) Siegfried.

Hi, you are right near the airport with this resort but for me the aeroplane noise didn’t bother me. If you want peace and tranquility maybe it won’t be for you. Friends of mine stayed in October and had lovely weather, a lot less rain than we had. They also weren’t bothered by the aeroplanes taking off.

Mauritius is deffo better in the months of December and Janaury if you like it roasting hot and above 30.c because it's summer then in Mauritius being a southern hemisphere location. I always go Mauritius in January to catch it at peak heat because i like it really hot. And then when i go on away in june, july or august i pick a caribbean destination... usually Jamaica, Dominican or Barbados to get the peak heat there. Btw how warm was it when you went Mauritius during thier coolest time?

Hi, It was still a decent temperature, around 25 degrees. The sun didn't feel overly strong and we didn't burn at all

Hi, we went in July/August. I didn’t notice anyone smoking and I’m quite sensative to it.

When i went to that hotel i was room 500 something not the wavy side but the still side we went snorkeling there and saw tons of turtles and one was massive . It was near the 2nd pool by the rocks on the left 17:28 at that time stamp

Hi, The air port is very close and you do get aeroplanes flying over. For me it didn't bother me at all. It's such a beautiful place and they come over very quickly and are gone. It's not all day long either so the odd one didn't seem like an issue
