We have such great food in New York. I love your videos, but really wish you would branch out more. Eating at dives in Times Square doesn't represent the city well. Martin is right, try some different places next time. :)

I met him at Hirams in Edgewater Nj last year and he put me on his vlog,before this trip I told him to try the chippery in Jersey City.which was passable because that what he does English food etc,I emailed him recommendations and he never seems to go lol?

But they do try, I think the diversity of foods in the tri state area is amazing and it would show the British audience what a special place like you say the NY metro area is take care

Great to have the "silver fox" back, but you really need to show some of the independent restaurants rather than the chains. This would allow you to show what other offerings are out there with better quality.

All hail the Silver Fox!!!! Also, my husband said we would love to see the Cuban and hispanic food scene in NYC - would be great to get some top tips from you for our next visit. Keep it up with the fantastic content and humour. You always make us smile.

Interesting point. There is a lot of great Italian food in New York, and not only pizza. Lee must not like Italian food.

Just before Christmas 2019, a mate of mine took his family to New York, some 25 years after he'd last been, then to celebrate his 21st birthday. Back then, he'd come back waxing lyrical to the point of being irritating about how wonderful America was, how great and cheap the food was, and so much better than in the UK! Then, in 2019, he came back complaining how expensive and of poor quality he felt American food had become! Don't know whether it's a New York thing or not but his opinion had definitely changed!

Thanks for pointing that out, I totally agree with you, I tip generously too, the down side is the waitress's fight over us, they constantly give good service with a smile, If I was going somewhere different every day I can assure you Id tip fairly but a little less than I do at the moment.

Outrageous price. I just wouldn't go in. Wetherspoons..Gourmet burgers and chips £9-10 with a pint so basically the burgers £6..and better than that shite.

You’re in the heart of Midtown. I can’t find a decent burger for under 15.00 right now and I live in the Bronx. So for the area you dined in unfortunately that’s around the going rate. Although yes , quality and service have definitely fallen off everywhere. Thanks for another enjoyable video. You 2 are always entertaining.

Dare I say this....DIVERSIFY! New York must be full of all sorts of styles of good and you're being the typical Brit sticking to the same old same old. I'd love to see you reviewing other stuff. Would love to see you eat Cajun. Shrimp or crab boil, jumbalaya, po'boys, gumbo, fried chicken. Not that I've ever tried these myself. I have a wonderful friend in Louisiana - I'm fascinated by what she eats. She made a jumbalaya when we met up in Port Isaac - brought the rice and spices all the way over with her. Basically though.....anything other than the stuff you've got in a rut with. 💖

Think you need to listen to Martín and go to his suggestions for food 😂. When you get back to the UK you should try the Dambusters pub in scampton Lincolnshire where the red arrows used to be based but it holds a lot of history. Which i know you like Always busy for Sunday lunch there. But have to say love Martín on your vlogs!

This is what I'm saying....Lee's going to less than wonderful New York restaurants and is getting gouged. There are so many better places - and values - outside of the touristy parts of the city. The Silver Fox has the right idea! (And for the record, UK food has improved greatly over the past 20 years or so...)

Hi Lee if you’re still around A place called Eighty Twenty is getting rave reviews for their Hamburgers and their Hotdogs ( they saying paying homage to Rutts Hut in Clifton)it’s on Westwood Ave Westwood Nj ( Bergen county) maybe your friend with the big truck would also try it out take care

Blimey Lee it was almost 2 dollars to the Sterling way back in 2004, sooo cheap to shop in the USA. Food was still crap even then. Except for Italian quarter in Manhattan. In my country we alway thought u.s and a the best for burger but now I know this not a true.. I see better burger in China now

I've been to this place and it's more show than go for me. You are right there are better places. Now if you are still in the area, go to Hackensack NJ to Chubby's BBQ on S River St. They started out as a Burger and Foot long hot dog place. They've expanded to BBQ and it's always popular. Fair warning it's not cheap but good.

Still don't get why you have to tip everywhere you go, especially when everything seems to be disappointing

You should have gone across the road to beer authority, great staff, good beer, and food, too. Or as I keep saying try Smilers deli, reasonably priced sandwiches and good lattes.

The NY prices are through the roof everywhere it seems, also for poor to average food. Prices are though the roof at Vegas too a friend told me who goes most years. Wonder why? anyone? Top Vid Lee.👍

Vegas tried to turn itself into a general entertainment destination rather than a pure gambling attraction. They succeeded, somewhat, but there is just too much gambling available everywhere else now. Why else would a place like The Mirage close down? Even the famous Las Vegas buffets are mostly gone.
