FYI: Anyone wondering did All HMs except ToC 10/25 ( Not a fun Raid at all ) way back when. As - A *Resto - Shaman*

The best change for me in wotlk for shaman is that magma/fire nova is a spell now rather than separate totem. Can place big fire boy totem and use those skills without despawning him

Shaman Healer: You can watch Netflix/Streams while healing. (Yes, i did this while fighting sarth 3D.)

enhance was bad extremely gear dependent and rais only brought one shaman due to lust being raid wide.ele scales likes crap as it did in tbc 4k dps in crappy gear ahile only 5k dps in ICC tier....you dont need much gear to do good damage on ele. if your going to play a shaman and want to do some pvp on the side play elemental it was an S tier pvp god in crappy gear.

Shaman got 2 slows and a instant cast movespeed increase in ghost wolf. Not ”powerful” but it is gap closers..

@@Ossskii95 No they're not. Warrior's and druid's charge is a gap closer, rogue's Shadow step is a gap closer. Just because you can slow a target or you can move faster by using a spell, doesn't make it a gap closer. Shamans DO NOT have a gap closer on WoTLK, they never did.

Not even Blink is considered to be an exclusive gap closer, because it' in a category of it's own, due to the fact that it can be used as an escape tool, as well. Targetable spell, that leaps, teleports, or rapidly/ almost instantly moves you in any other manner to a designated target is, by definition, a gap closer.

I've never seen this definition used by anyone. Been playing MMOs and MOBAs for 15 years and the definition we've always used is a simple one; an ability that closes the gap.. is a gap closer.

You should do shadow priest next!

It wasn’t that OP in wrath. Paladin is the god tier class, holy is insane and ret/prot for arena is an easy 2K with any class.

I met two retris often on 3.3.5, for my disco priest and frost mage…They lost everytime, so its not so broken 😂 if you want broken comp, go for classics like - rmp, rogue with feral, or destro with ele sham… Prot Pala is s tier, retri is cancer with shadowmourne 😁

I honestly didnt play a shaman till Cata so I thought throwing down all your totems at once was a cata skill?

Isn't shaman like, C tier in WotLK? Isn't DK just a better shaman as well? I'm playing an enha shaman in current classic TBC but I've been thinking of rerolling DK.

some of my best friends ( we play classic atm ) played with Affenjungs INC back then so they progress about world first ranking in TBC and WOTLK. And he told me his shaman went from top heal in tbc to suck heal in wotlk.

Mained resto shaman in wrath and loved it 🤘

I remember being so happy when wotlk started to finally have a sheep like spell. Never used it in pve because everything got aoed down in seconds. Hope the tune wotlk much harder than it was. People will leave soon if its too easy

naw , they wont make it harder. I know this because they nerfed ssc/tk before the phase was even over! No way they'd make wrath HARDER.

@@ezeess7239 well they nerfed ssc/tk bcuz most of the people were stuck and couldn't finish the raids even in classic.. i'd enjoy harder content in general hope they make it so it is a challenge and not everyone flies a Black protodrake

Dpsing on any shaman not called spellhance is an absolute meme in wrath. Unless you're in a casual guild. Semi hardcore raids may take one elemental because why not and because spell haste buff.

Shamys will mostly be forced to be resto as enha and ele DPS is too little compared to mages, locks, warrs and so on. But they are the best healer class next to disc in WOTLK, and elemental is also extremely insane in PvP but only in 3s

I dont understand when i play wow there is no talent tree like the one in the video

dont get me wrong im acually waiting for wrath classic seeing as its my childhood and favorite expansion ever. But blizzard has not even confirmed that wrath classic will be released. I see a lot of videos lately come out of the ground in large numbers so why are people so confidant that it will be released before blizzard themselfs confirms it?

well, blizzard sure loves money, and you can be sure they will go for it, since wotlk is one of the most played expansions in private servers and lots of players have fond memories of it, blizzard wouldn't waste such an opportunity, prob salivating at the mouth lol

this is 100% incorrect lmao, Spellhance should be top 3 in naxx if played correctly and top 5 in ulduar and ToC and then drops off in ICC to middle of the pack.

@@besnaja The fact that no one knows how to play shaman does not mean, that shaman is bad. Enha is pretty good DPS.

Could only make it 2 minutes into this before stopping. The amount of times you've cut down the gaps in the audio is far too distracting. Randomly skipping through parts, it's all throughout the video. A great example of what I mean can be heard at 9:22 where your speech is just spliced to hell.

*resto shaman is viable for pve ! The dps specs are a joke for pve with around %10-15 below average dps and with resto having all the needed buffs and being a great healer nobody is taking a dps shaman for the class alone. For the shaman plebs, NO nobody needs enhance haste becasue frost dk gives it and even a Bdk tank can give it, and NO nobody cares abouth wrath totem because Boomy and everyclass does more damage than the shamans with 1/10 of the effort. Sure some shaman dps players will be in the top guilds but they will be there JUST because they are excepcional players.

enhancement shaman is bad extremely gear dependent especially with weapons unless you do arena and can get rated arena weapons or pay for gdkps dont bother playing enhancement raids will only bring on shaman in wrath. elemental shamans on the other hand scale bad with gear just like in tbc in wrath ele can do 4k dps in crappy gear and if full icc gear you do 5K dps due to the bad scaling.however elemental is an S tier pvp god and you dont need much get to blow people up in pvp. in summery if you pay for gdkps or yoru guild carries you as the only shaman they will bring go ahead and play enhance if not dont bother playing enhancement in classic wrath play elemental.

Why would you play ench when you can play frost dk? ench is such a meme spec, only being decent in pvp and still they are way too squishy and gets blow up by pretty much everything

Man you really like getting people’s hopes up to be crushed huh? End game raiding only take resto(and mostly for their Blood lust ability)enhance is lack luster along with elemental.
