Still not sure how mom got a long tail macaque, they are next to impossible to train or have as a pet. They are extremely ornery in the wild. In my opinion, mom and dad have done a good job with her. Of course she has her outbursts sometimes. That’s to be expected.❤

Now I know which breed, thank you! You don't see them much, unique character they have, but can be very difficult for the owner I think indeed. They more than other monkeys can make a lot of different facial expressions and also vocal sounds. I think also the owner did a good job bringing her into their family, as long as they feed her in time, they don't have to worry about her doing something to the kids..Maybe she will even protect the kids or make alarm sounds when danger is around.

I see alot of videos with the long tailed. This is the first time i heard they are impossible to train and have as pets. Yet all of the monkeys are considered endangered. Interesting tho.

How can you say that when there’s a year of videos of her behaving that way and her only getting worst? Half of them you don’t have to do anything for her to attack she will if she doesn’t get her way. It’s the parents fault for letting her believe she’s the alpha now even ahead of them which isn’t normal for monkeys to them their parents are always noticed and respected as the higher ranked, not in this home where they don’t discipline shally and run away when she attacks them and submit to her by giving her what she wants or coddling her off bad behavior. Shally fans are delusional and none of them want to accept the fact that there’s something wrong with her and it’s gotten worst as she grows. She needs to be let go to the wild and grow with other monkeys. She can’t be around humans without trying to hurt them and eventually y’all won’t accept that until a kid has part of his/her face ripped because of shally. They keep her because of the money she makes them, no one in their right mind will keep any animal like that especially if they love animals

Good Lord is she defensive...😳🙄 Is everything a "slight" with Shally? Mom once tapped Shally on the bare butt in the shower and she went ballistic. Mom lifted Shally's tail once and she went ballistic. Mom helped Shally put on her top and she suddenly lost her cool. 🙄 Biting is a way monkeys defend themselves, but from what? I have seen several long tail macaque and they all have sweet personalities. They are always teasing Shally provoking her to be aggressive. YaYa is calm and sweet.

Shally will bite if she is teased and provoked .
