Hi I agree Shakys a true legend the full package like Elvis the king. Both legends in their unique way.

Just a legend in his own rights. The whole package no competition. Just like Elvis the king. Shaky should be a Sir. ❤ u shaky still in 2023.

Well...in fairness, he had more chart success in the UK than anywhere else and was the UK's best-selling sole male artist of the entire decade. But it's true that he gets nowhere near the respect now that he deserves. Sod the British, what do they know? (I'm also British, so I'm allowed to say this!)

I am to, thats what greats a bit, why do you have to be a closet shaky fan, I'm out and 1000% proud to be despite the stick I get from others. Shaky is the best, no comparison to todays rubbish. I'm afraid radio 2 plays the same thing 6 times a day I've stopped listening it drives me nuts. Shaky via amazon music all day long its fab

@@rachaelharman5529 It's a very British disease - a country obsessed with what IT perceives as cool. I got stick in school for being a Shaky fan but I OWNED it and in adult life, no stick. Either way, sod 'em. WE know he's great and that's what matters.

I'm hoping to see him to, let's keep fingers crossed covid hasn't put a stop to live music for good!! I would gladly wear a Shaky mask 😷 to see him thats for sure 👍 maybe he will make some especially for his gigs hey. Heres hoping, until then KZread and Fire in the Blood is all we have.

Well...I don't agree. I think vocally, apart from one or two very minor slips, he's solid here. The main giveaway for me regarding his recovery period is that he was sat down for most of the performance.

WAW he sounds Amazing here, He's about 60 here Isn't he. But i will say this, Who made him go back to work so Quick After his Heart Attack, Was It Shaky's idea Or his Managers, Ether way it was way to soon, Because Iv'e just watched a concert from 2011 and he is all over the place, His Notes are out, And His speech is slurred, He sounds week. Yet here He sounds like the Old Shaky We grew up Listening to. They sent him back to work to early He wasn't ready. He didn't have time To get better from the Attack. They wore him out. Anyway enough of me going on, I really liked the Video it was a rear treat as Iv'e never seen this ever, So thanx for uploading it ny friend.

"They"? Nope, Shaky was desperate to get back to work. His wife, Sue, is also his manager but Shaky is absolutely in charge of his own career. This video was actually his FIRST TV appearance since the heart attack. Glad you enjoyed it😊

@@andy6576 Of Course, I should know that, I just Forgot. Well He was Silly going Back to work so soon, He should have took 12 Months or even more, To give his Heart time to heal. Anyway At least we still have him So that's Something we can Be Grateful for, A long time ago i use to Take shaky Off when i would go to Karaoke's And Free and easy Open mike night's. I had his voice to a T. And Even tried to do his moves, Not as good as him though He could really move Couldn't he. Rock on Shaky.

@@mansellracing8690 You may be right, but I do understand why he'd want to return to "normal" as soon as possible and remember, this vid was before the vocally patchy gigs you mentioned, so clearly, he _could_ nail the vocals, but maybe full gigs were a step too far at that point. Would've liked to have been at those karaoke nights, for sure! 👍👍

Sometimes I would Blast out Marie Marie to, OH Yeh! Nearly Forgot, You Drive Me Crazy, They are all Great to Sing. And one song which is so Underrated, Because i love you, WAW Didn't he have some Great songs, How many of his songs did he wright, I know Jim Lowe was the original of Green door 1956, John Fred And the Playboys was the original OH Julie, But even the songs he didn't wright he made them his own, I really Miss Doing Shaky, I only wish he could have heard me, A duet with our Shaky, YES! So your complaint is that the songs/arrangements differ from the 80s studio recordings? Mmm...a strange (and wrong) point of view, but if I were you, I would avoid seeing any artist perform live, as it would be a waste of time for you.
