Another year of South By Southwest is upon us, and the Paste team has descended upon Austin, Texas for a marathon of music, tacos and cheap beer. This year, though, we brought at least those three things to our backyard, shooting sessions with some of our favorite bands in between heading downtown to find our next favorite bands.
First up was Shakey Graves, the musical stylings of Austin local Alejandro Rose-Garcia. He dialed up the volume for a pretty sweet wakeup call, railing through a couple of songs and rattling the roof on our little Austin bungalow. Check out his performance of “The Perfect Parts” here.

Shakey sounds good with or without a band.
I have literally probably jammed this video a minimum of 5,000 times. Probably a shit ton more. And everyday it stil hits like the first time.
Just gets better and better. Hope the mainstream mafia doesn't try to water them down.

The guitarist and Shakey have matching bicep tats... hmm I love this rendition, usually I prefer Shakey's solo stuff but this is a really tight version

when you're that good you can fill in the low notes with a guitar , cause there wasn't a bass , total pros and song phrasing was bloody perfect .
