Marcella is 67 and Siobhan is 61, let that sink in for a second. They still look and sound very good, I never thought i would hear this song live ever again, glad they were able to work things out and sing together again.

@@joshuachiasson4199 Siobhan sounded and looked great abd Marcella looks fab its just come on not only did she push her voice to far nearly 40 years ago as a popstar shes began in the 80s and ahes being sigimg for almost 70 years yeah i get that totally andyou know so in this performance she tries to hit those notes and its not happening. I think she should of re arranged her vocals in the big parts and Im a fan so i loved Siobhan being just as important now. Anyway Marcella also has that extra money from writing for other people and her own career as dies Siobhan. Theyre great successes both in their own rights

I near fainted when I read that, even though I'm 49 and was in my teens when Shakespears Sister came out. You forget your idols age esp if you haven't seen them for a while.

Still gives me thrills and chills in 2024 ❤❤.

Massive respect to these 2 ladies. I was barely a teenager when they burst onto the scene through this song. I remember some of their other songs, they were great too. It's hard to beat this song though, not just for them, but for anybody. I'd like to think they read comments like this and know that they're truly appreciated. This song is timeless and only gets better with time.

I never even knew they had a follow up to the masterpiece Sacred Heart album until 2023, let alone had a hit with "stay". I don't think it's one of their better songs but it sure seems to have resonated with the masses.

Marcella can really sing....like...really sing....she is the real deal...amazing voice.

I’m not gonna lie, this made me tear up a little; especially when they hugged at the end. Makes you realize how important it is to treasure your friendships and not let stupid things destroy them.

Fantastic. Loved it when it first came out, love it now still. The girls are still great. I remember seeing Marcella doing opera in some show and she was great in that too. Both fantastic and gorgeous ladies.

Still, after all these years. This song still gets me. Siobhan "Demon" still has that twinkle . Very hard song to sing Marcella , still trying to capture those moments way back when. Bravo ladies

I don't get the few negative comments about the singing. I love this performance. It's honest, emotional and remember they are 61 and 67 here. What were you expecting! Too many years of being used to autotuned perfection yet with no soul. Live vocals are almost never as good as the studio version but this performance looks and sounds great to me.

Glad you said almost, because there is one vocalist I much prefer live over studio if only because its more organic and that's Floor Jansen. She's been singing professionally since 16 and is now in her early 40s, so not as long as these two. If you're unfamiliar check out her solo of Shallow or her vocals on Ghost, Love, Score at Wacken 2013. You won't be disappointed.

Same when Siobhan reunited with Bananarama! The Original Line-up Tour saw them perform 23 sell-out dates across the UK in November and December 2017.

I used to cry watching their music video, it really grabs at the heart-strings.

As a young kid I had the biggest crush on Siobhan. Bur that's not really a unique experience I suspect. lol. Despite always loving different genres of music, something about SS always appealed to me.
