Actually, it is said that this sonnet is probably addressed to the fair youth, the Earl of Southampton
Shall I compare thee to a summer's day? Thou art more lovely and more temperate: Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May, And summer's lease hath all too short a date; Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines, And often is his gold complexion dimmed; And every fair from fair sometime declines, By chance or nature's changing course untrimmed: But thy eternal summer shall not fade, Nor lose possession of that fair thou ow'st, Nor shall Death brag thou wand'rest in his shade*, When in eternal lines to time thou grow'st. So long as men can breathe or eyes can see, So long lives this, and this gives life to thee.

When I chose this sonnet for ny paper many years ago in English Department UNS, my lecturer said" It is too easy for you but I love it very and I gave it as material for my Students in Poetry Class.
Third quatrain, after first line, is hardest to remember in my opinion (I'm just memorising for fun, to own and possess my patrimony as an Englishman, not for a course - though I wish I had actually done it 20 years ago when I was supposed to! You youngsters warm the heart. Good on you) Edit: btw, even if you are not British or are just starting to learn English as a second language, this is your patrimony too, if you want it to be).
Thank you I’ve been looking for a way to understand some of the words before my class
So long lives this.... Indeed the most eternal sonnet...
I have to memorize this by Wednesday and I’m listening to this on repeat. I’ll edit to say how it went.

“ GIVE ME THE MAN THAT IS NOT PASSION’S SLAVE, AND I WILL WEAR HIM IN MY HEART’S CORE, AYE, IN MY HEART OF HEARTS. ” - SHAKESPEARE *
Upon the scar of which night is day A cold sun i mean son will play Until dark has come the boys and girl will stay With col kiss from warm lips A lisp of broken past days recorded by ears and eyes Mind if I feed the boy with hay Upon a search for haste and the fade calm the transition to fame

Is this the way you read it correctly?

No I thinks it not read lije good
The iambic rhythm is not quite right. The stress falls on the second syllable in each line, so that the beat is: da-DUM da-DUM (where "DUM" has the emphasis). So, in the second line, it should run "Rough WINDS do SHAKE..." And in the third line: "Thou ART more LOVEly..." Also in the 5th line: "SomeTIME too HOT...."
Appearing a quarry such as the inversion of clouds never the less witnessed by the eyes of lore as a reassuring voice sounded , just don’t care
