Undoubtedly, the trans-cultural universality of Shakespeare is as apparent as it can be. The purpose of this is to show the factors that led the legendary story-lines of Shakespeare to prevail in the Indian colleges and universities. Enlivening Shakespeare through enactments, intercultural, interpretation, translations and researches is relevant today as it has been in the past.
