Seeing where things are positioned on the body and in relation to each other adds a lot of valuable context. P.S. It also gets them to explain the "Why" behind more of their choices.

Bro put your gear where it works for you, not where some doofus ass FBI agent wears it. FBI and ATF agents are some of the most incompetent humans on earth. And that’s coming from someone who has been on an FBI gang task force for 5 years now (I work local LE) and seen plenty of these dudes operate.

I think this is cool that you do videos from both the MIL and LE sides so that ppl can see the different setups whether it’s Warfighting or Law Enforcement

Same. I'm just a concerned citizen who likes to be prepared but hopefully we are civil enough for it to never come to that. "Better to be a warrior in a garden than a monk on the battlefield."

Whole lot different then when I was doing gang intervention work almost 15 years ago. We thought we were badasses with our 870’s and carry handle M4’s, slick hard plate armor, duty belts with bone stock G22’s, and mich helmets. 😂

Lucky you even got that. We still do gang work with a pistol in a full duty wool uniform. Chasing gangsters with guns all over the hood. Best time I’ve ever had.

Nice. Early 90s we were running Levi’s belt, 6 shot Smith & Wesson revolver, quarters for the payphone and a pack of Lucky’s…

Grenade pouch for cuffs is pretty ingenious. Didn’t even think of that.

I’d agree but seems most regular infantry is pretty limited to issued plate carriers while on deployment. The setups are still cool though.

Good information on gas mask fitting in lunchbox, always a pain in ass. Usually hits me in nuts when I D ring it on belt

See, feds DO wear multicam! In all honesty, well thought out kit. Mirrors mine in a lot of ways from my warrant/tac team days, minus the suppressor and NODs. And I thought I was the only one to run a grenade pouch for my handcuffs!

That's some heavy gear! As a gang unit investigator in south Florida, I'd not of won all 13 foot pursuits I got into were I wearing all of that. We pretty much carried what we wanted. Personally I preferred to keep it lightweight...vest (panels under a black tee shirt), pistol (on a drop rig), cuffs, radio, taser, and a few other bits and pieces. Had other kit in the vehicle if needed for certain ops, but didn't run it on the daily.

Same here. Great for a warrant service and a high risk apprehension, but not as a enforcement team member on the street.

Just bought one of those true north holster mounts on my own valition, looking for something with a more secure lockup then the base safariland UBL. Funny to see one pop up here as well.

We got the heavy vests, helmets, shield etc. in 08 doing gang hits all over NYC… after the second or third time walking to the 12th floor of some project… It was back to soft armor, pistol and a ram… OH.. I ordered my own dog pole… didn’t want to hurt the daggies!

Love this setup this guy has awesome gear.

I really like the idea of putting the gas mask in a pouch in the lower front like that. I just wish we could do something that useful with out over vests.

@@tororosso7046 Yeah, they’re also hands down the most incompetent of law enforcement next to ATF…. I’ve worked with plenty to come to that conclusion. My unit just uses them for their funds, because they pay for everything we do including our OT pay, they also get our task force new cars, gear and training.

I conceal a sig M18 w/ Deltapoint Pro and an X300V with a CAT tourniquet in a TRex sidecar and it works pretty damn well with flannels. (I'm only 5'7" 140lbs too)

Once it's time for the kit to go on, "blending in" is not part of the equation, being readily and easily distinguished as LE is really important once you start making any sort of "tactical" move
