This is one of the few interviews I've seen with Shailene where the interviewer/host doesn't sound so incredibly weirded out by Shailene's lifestyle. Quuen Latifah actually seemed pretty interested meanwhile a lot of others get grossed/weirded out and poke fun in a slightly mean way

she also drink spring water it contains essential minerals which are not present in our filtered water... she also make homemade soap and shampoo like toothpaste she eats salads a lot & also drink water & juices a lot..

Love all the positive comments on Shailenes videos. She is truly a great ro model for this generation. I'm glad we got her.

Oil pulling with coconut oil is actually amazing. I can't speak to the cleansing benefits (I did feel great but I was also eating really healthy) but it was really great for my gums and teeth. All the inflammation quieted down and my teeth tightened in their sockets.

I've taken up Oil pulling and it has done me a lot of good too. In fact it's the best thing I've ever done because now my teeth are whiter and my gums are healthier. I wish I knew about it earlier.

+Amelia mitchell The most common method is to keep it in your mouth for at least 10 minutes. Swish it around like you do with mouthwash. I want to try it myself. My niece does it. I'm not sure how often. Maybe you should try it 2x a week.

I'm such a fan of hers now. I really couldn't stand her on that TV show she use to on but ever since I've started see her in movies and interviews I've just grown to like her.

yeah if its GOOD clay, the idea behind what Shailene does is that the clay picks up all the toxic and left over unwanted sediment in the stomach and intestines and flushes it out.

cookie3117 Your dentist would tell you that because he needs to make money...baking soda has amazing benefits not only for teeth. If you want to talk about what's bad for you it's all that flouride in the dentist's cleaning formula and toothpastes. It's showing up in water as well and in large amounts flouride is poisonous. Baking soda is not going to harm your teeth I promise.

its depend on the quantity every good thing is also bad in excess excessive use of baking soda can damage your teeth enamel but its proper use can whiten your teeth without harming exessive and harshly brushing can also cause enamel loss but proper brushing u know wat i mean...
