That’s so true about the cleaning away the plates in America!! I’m from England and it’s so different here. Waiters/waitresses won’t clean away a table until the whole table has finished their meal. Was definitely a shock when I visited America and the waiter took my plate away whilst my friend was still eating, that would be considered rude in the UK. Funny how the two countries can be different ❤️

I've always heard that in some countries, especially in Europe, people don't like it much when you try and speak another language than theirs. And this has been given as an example, especially in countries where people don't care much about their language or whether or not you will speak it as a foreigner. Come to think of it, I think that matter is FROWNED UPON in the developed countries because of JEALOUSY than anything. In the so-called 'developed countries' people feel so proud of their countries and they think that they're on par with the developed country of which people speak its language. So, their resentment is like a warning sign to the foreigner, hey, watch out! We're a developed country, too. Therefore, our language deserves to be spoken, too.
