In the manga he was slowed down by the treasury that he was carrying around him. In the anime he doesn't face this problem and the coin joke is about him not losing coins. I also don't remember the recovery atomic, but that might just be my bad memory. The ending is basically the same but Shadow in anime is more perfect. For a manga reader like me, it's pretty enjoyable. Small differences make it fresh.

​​@@leonhart0711nono The point is, the the members of shadows garden are strong because they possses the blood of demon diablo. This gives them a massive boost in magic. If their body cannot handle this magic boost, their body will mutate which are called the possessed. Every members of shadow garden are mutated like that but cid is able to control the magic boost in their body bringing them like shown in ep 2 ( about alpha ). Since now their magic boosted but their body can control it , they became stronger than most people. The only one who was controlled this power without cids help is beatrix hence she is strong like said in anime . But my point is Vampires arr also like the possessed but their body doesnt mutate. So they also have the same magic boost like possessed. Beta also mentioned that elisabath have more magic than alpha. Not to mention elisabath is in top of vampires.
