Out of curousity, do DoT casters have to worry about clipping their dots? I know you said that the DoTs changed, but I am not sure about the clipping.

it might be worth noting that hit > spirit up to the melee 8% hit so your shadowfiend doesn't miss

The only thing that makes a melee slightly more complicated is having to move more with your target. That doesn't make them difficult to play. Most of the rotations in wow are quite easy to master once you know what to do.

Great video, going for a shadow priest with the scroll of resurrection. Nice to hear a Manc accent, I moved to Brazil noy many Mancs there. :)

Yea I just tested it out and especially with 4piece you get 3x shadow orb procs much more often and shadow fiend doesn't hit for a large amount, its more of a mana cd. Now I go int>haste>mast>crit, I tend to keep my crit arount 15% and yellow sockets get haste/mast gems.

I disagree with the stat priority, I go int>haste>crit>mast because of sin and punishment every time you crit w/ mind flay you shave 10 sec off the remaining cd on shadow fiend.

Hey preach, maybe you should check the ´maybe or maybe not talents´ that people want to take but actually arent as good as they think, I really dont know an example but there are alot of talents that alot of people take while they actually arent that good, maybe you should add why not to choose these in your videos, keep up the good work ;D

I miss cata shadow priest. Fyi that doesn't matter anymore, crit was better than mastery back then because every mind flay crit lowered the cooldown of the shadow fiend. You could have it out for 2/3 of the fight if you changed your mastery to crit and never worry about running out of mana as well as having a decent dps boost from having a pet out for most of the fight. I remember when I switched my mastery to crit, I went from #3 on my raid dps list and all of us being very close in damage, to being #1 by a wide margin. My raid leader at the time was flipping out thinking I had some hacked weapon or something lol. God I miss cata.

i like mastery over haste, but i balance them

If i were to instead gem int haste would that be ok? because ive realized that haste is almost as important as int because ive never had mana isues and the spell power i guess is nice but would it be a dps increase to gem int haste

I had MF-macro before seeing this video. It was a big dps-loss. Like 2k or even more.

You will do more damage with Mastery>Crit.

Wrong rotation you got there , it should be like this " SWP - Fiend - Mindflay 2x Mindblast - VMP - DVP - Archangel - Mindflay 2x - Mindblast. Mindflay 3x - Mindblast - VMP - DVP and this is pretty much how ur rotation should go. Remember on most boss fights you can Mulidot for example morchok HC. And this is done by doing ur whole rotation on one of them and when ur dots are refreshed you do swp , vmp mindflay and mindblast on the other. Thumbs up so others can see.
