There are a couple of private mop servers recently there was a large influx in my server from retail which was kinda bizzarre so I asked them (4 people) and they all responded I miss mop and I wanted to play a bit.

That's great to hear Koulnis! :D Shadow isn't exactly on par with the other superpowers on wow pvp (mages/druids etc.) but I don't think they are as weak as some people say they are :) The biggest problem in my opinion (in 1v1's) is the long ramp up time to do damage compared to almost any other class ...but I'm sure WoD will bring other problems. xD

really awesome video, and loved the funny intro!

That last fight was pretty fucking sweet, dude. 1v1 is hard enough as Shadow. 1v2 with a healer is crazy. Awesome work, buddy!

Hi. I was wondering why you have the same spells on your actionbar 2 or 3 times added? is this a lower rank spell of the same spells?

Hi Kevin! :) We don't have spell ranks anymore (since WoTLK, I think). I only keep spells that have a cooldown on my bad and everything else is made a macro to look like one of these spells. For example, I have Flash Heal look like Mind Blast. That way I can see the MB cooldown better, not get distracted by other abilities that I don't need to see and I can also cast Flash Heal (duh.) Thanks a lot dude and sure thing you'll gen answers! :D 1. By procs I mean my proc trinket, my tailor cloak enchant and, if possible, my weapon enchant too. But I'm usually happy with just the trinket :) 2. I don't really set up my burst around mind spikes. If they are there when I 3 orb, that's great but if not, oh well :) It is a good idea to save 2 mind spikes when you go for burst though. And you should have them up a lot if you keep VT on 3 targets. 3. My fear is on 27 sec cd so it's never going to DR itself. It ca only DR if I use Psyfiend and if that's the case, I usually just look at Psyfiend's remaining cooldown and approximate things in my head :P And about surviving, I'm not sure what to say... Try to avoid as much damage as you can, since you can't go toe to toe with any other DPS class in the game unless you have your orbs ready and those take a while. So line of sight as much as you can, while using instants (feather, PoM, SW:D, renew,shield,star, instant MB, etc.)... The surviving bit usually just comes with time if you stick to the class, I guess :P I hope this helps, konstig~! :D

***** For one, don't play shadow in 2v2 :P It's horrible! You either play with a healer and get pissed cause games vs another healer take forever if the enemy healer is dispelling your dots, or you play with a DPS and in that case you will ALWAYS be the target of the enemy team and you will be forced to kite and heal all game long and barely do any damage... just assist your partner with a shadowfiend when he goes for burst :P And try to fear on cooldown! Second, it does get A LOT better when you are fully geared. :)

Psychic Horror is worth it for sure in 2v2/3v3. It's going to be worth even more in WoD since you get all the orbs back after your use it! :) And I did play beta for a little bit and SP definitely seems strong.

It's probably is the way I rendered the video :P If you look at my abilities (trinket for example) they appear very bright so maybe it's that :)

Subbed ! ur makeing it look so easy to play shadowpriest in pvp :c but ! more fun when u can master something hard ! i just started play SP and trying to gear both PvE and PvP so i will se if i learn how to PvP like u when i get gear :D is 1h & off hand beter than 2handed ?? or dosnt matter? keep up good vids :)

Kung Pars 1H gives you a little bit more spell power and other stats (like 50-60 each stat) but staff gives a little bit more stamina. Plus 1 handers hit faster so you can wack those totems and mushrooms faster :)

How did you get that low mmr with that gear? Couple of months since I played but I remember I could not get lower than 1500 :/ even on brand new alts.

Well you start on 0 rating. and a lot of people used to drop rating on purpose (que up for arena and then leave the que, resulting in a loss so mmr drop) This doesn't really work anymore since they implemented the deserter debuff for arena. Well it works but it would take a lot longer cause you can leave the game after getting in combat and not get the debuff. They did this specifically to prevent higher skilled player to face lower skilled players (aka. boosting)

Ca11mero As far as I know, you used to start at 1500 rating but that was waaaay back, I believe in burning crusade (maybe WoTLK too) Right now you start at 0 rating (probably ~1500 mmr if you never player arena before) and mmr is not account wide (for example I am 2.1k on my priest and druid in 3v3 but ~1200 on my shaman and warlock)

What addon do you use for the floating combat text?

When I set up my burst I don't even care about mind spikes procs just because if you manage to get VT on 2 targets You will almost definitely have 2 Mind Spikes procs Ready to go and I just don't really use them until I burst, unless I really need them for something (like killing a totem, for example). Lately I've been playing with mindbender a lot more and I kind of like it. Mind spike is still better for 3v3, probably. About staying alive, I try not to take any damage by LOS-ing as much as I can and make sure that when I go offensive I have either a big fat Vamp Embrace ready or some sort of cc for at least one of them. And as for fear DR's, I usually aim to fear on cooldown, but if I use Psyfiend at some point I judge based on the cooldown remaining on either Psyfiend or Fear. Usually I don't really care that much about it in 1v2 cause usually when I fear I absolutely have to, even if it's half. Hope that helps :P

my rogue in 2s the highest i gotten is 1750 with just doing random for points and it was hard so i wish you luck but i havent played the game close to a year so im not sure what changes have happen still you can take it there no problem

Hey George! :D Well, I have a shadow priest guide over here: Anboni's Complete Shadow Priest PvP Guide | patch 5.4.8 Maybe that's going to help a little bit. In a 1v1, shadow priests are probably the worst class to play cause it's like you said, you die in a couple seconds. In most 1v1 situations, your best bet is to go very offensive from the start. It gets better with practice (I'm still pretty bad in 1v1's myself) and definitely gets better once you have full gear. Good luck mate!

Actually as soon as i stopped dropping mmr, I barely lost any game. But as you said, it's just 1k mmr so I guess that's why :P You are right though, I will try my best to get as high as I can and post those fights next time! :D
