This fight goes a lot smoother when you realize the 700 Krusty Burger Order heals you when you're inflicted with Hunger.

Honestly I got lucky that they happened to synch up in such an amazing way, doing the mouth flaps for the stuff before it was unfortunate 😂😂

To be fair to Mr. Hutz, that's a reasonable reaction to fighting Shadow Okumura on merciless and a fresh save.

@@samuelmachado8330 Yeah, I'm not referring to the whole game, just this fight in particular. Merciless could be considered easy if you know the weaknesses of all of the enemies in the game, but it's more punishing otherwise.

I understand why he screams. Not only he is not prepared to fight them, he knows that this s a boss battle and you can never run from them.

Glad I played Persona earlier this year to get the full effect for this.

The trick is to pay attention to weaknesses. If it's Duff, use Homer's Chugodyne or Chugalao. If it's Fire, use Bart's Firecracker, etc. It makes short work of a lot of the goons. Also pay attention to what he yells out, each insult is unique to one of the characters in your party and lets you know who will be targeted that round.

To add a little context, mr Burns in this meme is taking the place of one of the game's arc villains. When the main characters confront him in a boss battle, he calls different mini bosses which you have to defeat in a series of battles rather than facing the guy himself. Said villain is a crooked corporate executive and said mini bosses are referred to as his employees, so Burns is a fitting analogue.

He's only screaming because it's the Royal version of the fight.

Beautifully done. Also I managed to beat Okumura just the other day first try with exactly 1 minute remaining someshow

I literally haven't been playing P5R for the last two years because just the thought of having to face this asshole after all I've been told about his fight exhausts me. And my older brother wants me to keep playing because he likes to listen to the music while he's studying and has been busting my balls about it ever since I stopped

its rough but at least in my opinion its a really fun fight. but also it's probably the hardest fight in the modern persona games excluding 3 fes. to my knowledge its not that hard to cheese using merciless mode so do with that knowledge what you will

I just needed some time to assess things and study some kind of strategy. Then I got caught up playing a lot of other stuff and two years later here I am still swearing that one day I'm gonna kick his ass while trying to clear out all the backlogged games I accumulated in the meantime

Okumura is so easy. Here’s a step-by-step guide to beat him no problem: Turn 1: Myriad Truths, stat boost item on Joker, magic attack boost on Joker, SP restore on Joker. Turns 2-end of fight: Repeat above actions.

Playimg through for the first time and beat this guy yesterday. First time I actually had some troubles, enough to go back to my old strats in RPGs for when I got stuck, grinding. Between getting 5 more levels and a Unicorn with heavy all attacks for each phases weakness it became pretty easy after that. Wish real life was as easy as spending about 2 hours wandering the subway killing Anubis over and over again.

I don't get why people hated this boss fight so much. After how much of a slog the dungeon was, this was a very welcome change of pace. And it wasn't THAT difficult, especially not with Girimekhala

Back in my Persona 5 Vanilla days, it was the Palace that was annoying and the Shadow Okumura fight that was easy.

The more I think about it Okamura is the Persona equivalent of Mr. Burns, but if they took him 100% seriously

Idk if I speak for myself but after killing every robot after every shift change, Okumura seemed pretty easy in comparison. I think I did a “Idiot Savant” on him and blundered my way through his bots with minimal thought.

Hint: don’t put Lionel Hutz on the front. He has low defense 😂😂😂

Seriously. *IF* it was only difficult with a time limit, it'd be a fun challenge. *BUT* the characters never shut the f/uck up, wasting time by repeating the same lines over and over again while the player's just minding his business, figuring out a strategy... Horrible game design.
