It's a shame there are no other forms of 'undead' in the games as a type of enemy, Barrow-wights, maybe 'lesser wraiths' vicitms of Morgul-knife, maybe ghosts that you could see only in the Unseen, the wraith-world (this mechanic of being forced to shift into another layer of reality to fight a unique enemy type in game would be interesting, things that only exist within wraith-world would spice things up and add hugely to variety of enemies and when we're at it, why they didn;t give use true giant spiders of Shelob's brood to fight, in game Lotr:War in the North on Mirkwood levels the giant spiders were great enemy, they could tangle you with webs and tackle with player character, they were really of varying sizes but huge, truly giant, not like in SoM/W only little ordinary spiders that are barely there). Barrow-wights and lesser wraihts could have been really powerful mini bosses, with abilities on parr with Talion and Celebrimbor (in fact Talion and Celebrimbor going by lore would be more like a Barrow-wight than anything else, though a live one ;), wights that we know from book possessed long dead corpses :)). Barrow-wights were capable spell-casters: "No!' said Frodo; but he did not run away. His knees gave, and he fell on the ground. Nothing happened, and there was no sound. Trembling he looked up, in time to see a tall dark figure like a shadow against the stars. It leaned over him. He thought there were two eyes, very cold though lit with a pale light that seemed to come from some remote distance. Then a grip stronger and colder than iron seized him. The icy touch froze his bones, and he remembered no more. When he came to himself again, for a moment he could recall nothing except a sense of dread. Then suddenly he knew that he was imprisoned, caught hopelessly; he was in a barrow. They should really add a ‘Banished From Death’ bonus where an Uruk/Olog will endlessly Cheat Death even when you decapitate them. The most likely Uruks/Ologs that would have this bonus are Zog, The Stitch Olog, and The Gravewalker Uruk

Tbh, the default necromancer/CD mechanism works well enough; just slightly increasing the chance of CD for the former will do the trick. Unlimited CDs will only cause annoyance than fun 😅

Ah the Gravewalker. I remember this encounter as one to end one big debate. We fought many times so I can see whether he lived up to the name. Soon enough I finally ended it all and slaughtered him for being an imposter. He ended up coming back so I recruited him but he seemed to want the mantle for himself and betrayed me. I then made an example of him and turned his mind into a talking vegetable. After that I hunted him down and eneded the useless debate and put his head on a pike for all of Mordor to see

What an epic encounter right there especially on talking vegan xD Also if you think about it these necro orc ain't got nothing to do with Talion since it seems like they have some health issue to take care of such as highblood pressure, heart disease, liver (due to excessive grog) and etc to deal with. As for Talion, dude is still fit after decades of running wild in Mordor.

sequel idea: it's now after sauron has been destroyed, the bright lord, elfy boy begins his conquest to conquer middle earth again using his one ring. this triggers one of Talion's many old devout followers, and they use necromancy to bring him back and he has to stop mr bright lord elfy boy once again without any rings of power... how fun.

The way I see it, I'm completely done with Talion and Celebrimbor storyline and I think whatever monolith gave them has more than enough to justify their series but a new and interesting character with innovation mechanism + a good storyline for middle earth will always be welcomed

Sergeant So N' So no way I'm patronizing, just my opinion towards the game and it's continuation. I'm fine with the game as long as it doesn't go too far fetch but I think the dev will have the hard time to produce another great one. From most opinion I gathered towards the ending of SoW many are so done with it's twist (Celeb betrayed Talion, Celeb "joined" Sauron in the eye and what not) so yea re-use Celeb to make a future story will not work unless for maybe a detailed past will do.

I wonder how the game will change if we can mod the game as we do for Skyrim, new enemy, ally, power, etc. maybe someone will find a way to add whole of Middle-earth, we did have Gondor and some of their city in Middle Earth map where we travel and conquer Mordor, can add map to Gondor area based on the First map with human.

Good day. I am glad that my videos resonate with your ongoing journey with SoW. Yea, I quit the game since the end of 2019? This game is awesome and probably one of the most memorable ones for me, not because of the story, but because of the orcs I encountered and their characteristics and the souls these developers imbued in them. You can feel the sincerity in it. Oh yeah, also the nemesis mechanism, one of a kind, the randomness in it, and the surprise it can give you. I hope you enjoy the game.

You're not alone. Many had countless hours in but yet to meet the Gravewalker and some others rare one. Zog can cheat death by chance but happens rarely. One can "re-enact" that by dying more to him while he was still alive to increase chance for him to CD later (after complete his final quest)

Thanks for sharing. As for me I spotted about 4 of them throughout my 700 hours+ gameplay. The self-resurrection thingie was given to all necromancer after the major patch on July 2018

I never found this Uruk in my first playthrough, even with over 400 hours of playtime. I found him at lvl 25 in my second and he killed me enough times that I had to level up in order to recruit him (I don't shame the ones I want because I don't care for the hand print on their faces). His Agile and No Chance attributes were annoying, as well as the gang of Ologs and, of course, Necromancy. I finally got him in my garrison along with my Stitch and Tower. He had no weaknesses that I can remember, and while yours in the video has Throwing Knives as an epic trait, mine has Thick Skinned. He was a pain in my ass, but well worth it.

Thanks for sharing. Good for you. Tbf of 1.2k hours I only encounter 4 of erm so the title is that rare. I don't bother with my orc perk/strength as long as they look cool, not imitate human and a deranged then I'm on.

To think about it the routine of Talion's life in Mordor can be really really bored, pain, suffering and redundant as hell.

Hope you too doing well and stay safe! 😁✌🏻 As my other replies, this title can also spawn more than once per game and less rarer than the like of Twin/Agonizer/Puppet Master/Inscrutable etc. The first 30 hours of the game usually spawn some or if you willing to grind long enough 😅

Thanks for asking. Can't answer it on specific since my memory is fading but you can after the last patch where the dev gives you mask upon complete certain objectives in the game.

Sometimes I wonder how long it took for them to record all these lines.

Sometimes the author says it takes them about hours to day to hunt the said orc then 2~5 hours to record these lines, about 2 hours to filtered and rearranged it then another 30~45mins to render them then another 1~2 hours to make the thumbnail 😉

Number of orcs killed by Talion: 12236282010. Numbers of impersonator's brains jellyfied: 1, so far. Number of people who skipped The Hobbit scene: 0.

No prerequisite for default orc to spawn BUT chance to spot them is exceptionally higher during the first 30 hours, just the way game maker want to keeps us interested. The only requirement is on scars but even then those are not very predictable either; some gotten the Beast olog very easily while me, my first Beast olog only spawn after the 5th olog. Same goes for my Stitch, etc. Some scars like Machine scar and Stitch are prone to spawn very early/easily so the player get the sense of immersion BUT still other players failed to trigger those I mentioned due to the nature of the nemesis mechanism "randomness", can be too random sometimes. Just so you know there this player who played the game for 1k+ hours WITHOUT meeting a single Tower uruk. I can go on and on with Gravewalker who had it worst who shared their experience with me 😅 In short, this title is rare but not as rare as Gab, Inscrutable, Panderer, etc.

You may not like it. But this is what peak Gravewalker performance looks like.

"Biome" is a new word to me lol. To answer your question you need "Desolation of Mordor" dlc tho I'm not sure you need to beat the dlc first or a straight unlocked once you own it.

Mine was Ukbuk, in Seregost. He's a Trickster, Savage, and an Epic Caragor Rider (Dire mount). Had him Broken, Recruited, and made my Bodyguard in five minutes. Helped me kill the original Overlord, one Skak Dwarf-Lover, but I kept him on. Not two missions in the area later, I find out one Az-Agur the Skinner killed moments ago, somehow was his Blood Brother and now he's betrayed me. Luckily, he didn't go Iron Will on me, and I re-recruited him to my Guardship where he remains today.

@@ikigaofficial Well, I had another, less pleasant one in Seregost. Ur-Heku the Warlord, a Warchief set to defend during an Endless Siege, bled out when I was overwhelmed. Returned to Seregost after leveling up the Army in Gorgoroth, and he appears, now the Abandoned, and very much feeling it. I cut his left arm off upon Executing him, only to be ambushed when I returned to the area from Cirith Ungol, sporting a new claw on his stump. Thankfully my Bodyguard took better care in Decapitating him that time.

Atleast a good ending right there 😁🖖🏻 One of my memorable encounter, the death blade aka thrak chasing me around different regions then manage to killed me when I was busying with 1 villain capt and a betrayal capt so I went back to him killed him off, double check the army region his corpse gone and replaced so theoretically hes dead for good since every slots were occupied... Outtanowhere he spawns again when I was ambushing an orc for quotes, this time he won't say a word (bugged out), retaining his formal body, I got killed thanks to my lazy arse so I go back and broke his mind, he became that mekmekmek guy, still ambushing me all over the maps tho he can't kill me this time and I don't feel like keeping him since he got that potato bag sack helmet so I left him be Only later he go MIA again but this time for eternally. Till this day I still feel like hes peeking me elsewhere ready to strike me again when I'm unprepared. Thanks thark death blade for the phobia.

How do you come across all of these unique orcs? I've played for a while on and off and have yet to come across one even with the DLC

Hey there, play for a while will not get you even close to 50% of these encounters. I've been playing this game for 1 and a half years, with 1.3k+ hours spent by record with dozen of save backups.

Can't disagree with that. Besides, its to each their own nemesis system kind of mechanism so not everyone gonna get the same encounter. According to info I had gathered, we even have mates who couldn't even spot the most common one after hundred hours in.

I'm glad that it intrigued ya as the way it does to me. SoW is the only game I have ever play for year+ (excluding mmorpg). Incase you don't know yet, the hunt ended a month+ ago on episode 335 :)
