Lara Croft and her faithful friend Jonah find the village of Kuwak Yaku. They learn from the inhabitants of this settlement that this place hides ancient and powerful artifacts. The inhabitants live in fear, because they know that these artifacts can endanger the whole world by upsetting the balance of power (This is how they talk about it). But the biggest threat to them is criminals who seek to seize such valuable relics.

Мешканці живуть у страху, бо вони знають, що ці артефакти можуть викликати небезпеку для всього світу порушивши баланс сил (так вони про це говорять).
