I always felt weird about miquella. Ever since i read the bewitching branch item description ive thought about how he couls be controlling people. Im so glad they expanded on this in the dlc.

that dagger is ER version of corvian dagger from DS3, which was my main back in the day. if specced right at meta levels SL/RL 150, with quality, keen, occult, fire it has insane dps. but what was unique about DS3 version (corvian dagger) was even though it was a "dagger" its reach was twice that of actual daggers cuz it was giant, about 2/3 of the length of straight sword + it had really short frames i.e. attacks came out really quick + it did insane poise damage (stagger for days). mix all of this with min stamina consumption, i used to jump into attacks and open with rolling poke which 60-70% of times staggered in pvp. this allowed me to follow up with 2 more attacks and for those who couldnt parry me, i could even attack 4 times before they could roll out. it gave massive burst damage potential. i frequently hit 700 damage in one flury of attacks which used to freak out opponents. why im explaining all this, well ER version (said dagger and others like it) might not make sense on first glance, but when you see their mechanics (hugely presuming that similar mechanics are followed) it will make a lot of sense.

Trying to get on that hornsent deer thing was so funny. Maybe it was bugged in the early copy. I jumped right up from the first floor.
