This was made before the launch day patch so to note Rellana's Twin Moons does have a 3rd hit (and a much cooler animation) in game and is overall much better!

@@Ryamos3 Yeah, I tried it and was sad to find that out. I wish they'd buff it to have hyper armor all the way through, and to actually apply the moon debuff and frostbite properly.

something not mentioned if you hold rellanas full moon while casting you will drop the 2 moons and then slam the ground with your staff for a third AOE

Fextralife mentioned something about this. They filmed the spells before the day 1 patch and the twin moons didn't have the third slam at the time. When the dlc was officially dropped for everyone, it was patched. Not sure when this vid was recorded but Miriam's Vanishing is glitched in it because it doesn't cost FP. Its supposed to cost 9 FP.

The teleport spell should be an ash for staves.

Ima call cap on the pois on the twin moons, I literally got hit out of the moon spell by a small enemy throwing a rock

Miyazaki definitely loves his poison swamps, still surprised that I've not found any death blight swam though.

Miriam's Vanishing doesn't seem to be an escape spell. Its a spell that lets you get close. The s seem to be back loaded like most of it is in the part where your character is appearing instead of vanishing.

It's for move casting. You can do about half a casting animation while in the teleport

you'll do a third shockwave if you hold the skill button on rellanas spell.

There's also rings of light. Not crazy damage but it's a sorcery that needs both int and faith for some reason.

What spells would you recommend against Metyr mother of fingers? I'm using full moon and tiche the combo I've found that does the most damage/gets below the halfway point and having a hard time. You are also the only reviewer I know that does these in depth int/faith reviews, greatly appreciated.

@@saded6795 I used the mimic tear. And I found if you’re using magic to only cast 1-2 spells when you have an opening. I kept dying cause I was trying to cast as much as I could but you really need to just take it super slow and only hit when you know you can. Also using a shield really helped when she would float up and create those huge beams. Get as close to the little wind whirlpool she creates and just hold your shield up. You won’t take a lot of damage and you avoid the giant death beams she creates.

Woo think I'm going to like Glintstone Nails. Can you do an Armor video? Is anything going to be better than Bullgoat in terms of stats? Hoping yes, Bullgoat is ugly lol

Armour of solitude is pretty close. It’s also from a boss that could be the first you fight in the dlc

Solitude is 96 poise, but it's cool and it's significantly lighter than bullgoat (it's in the weight bracket just below goat, and has good resists), so it's extremely efficient. Moore's set seems to be the highest raw stat set in the game though, if you just want to chonkmax.

Lol, the reason I'm watching this video is for early game spells. Then he spent so much time explaining how many hoops you have to jump through to get them. Essentially there's only one spell early.

The fleeting microcosm hilariously bullies any npc that isn’t a giant dragon or boss. Endless stunlock on any black knight, fire knight, Npc invaders, Npc bosses, they literally can’t get back up if you keep using it in succession. Even crucible knights get endlessly thrown around onto the ground and can’t move until you drink an estus

I agree with you. The way the moon is being casted by that boss was mmmuaaah! 🪄
