Too bad that they won't 100% finish this game. In meaning that Old Shadow of the colossus had some unfinished files of other colossus monsters that aren't in the game.

Not really, The Last Guardian would benefit getting a little remaster on the PS4. These guys can improve the controls, camera, frame rate and the ugly textures.

@@restfulori212 My opinion is... completely opposite to yours. I love BoTW, Xenoblade is anything but disappointing. But I regret buying Mario Odyessy. •~• So no, BoTW isn’t overrated, you’re just not the person for huge open world games I guess.

I remember being in such a hurry to stab this colossus that I died from fall damaging after jumping from one of the higher levels. Good times.

Bluepoint are basically the best studio in the world when it comes to porting and updating games to new platforms. Much respect.

This looks like a brand new game for real

This is just a dream that came true. SOTC was the game that got me interested into animation as an art form and has a very special place in my heart. Congratulations to the BluePoint team, they did a fantastic job! One thing I noticed missing here, is Agro's running halt. In the original game, when he was galloping at full speed and you wanted him to make an emergency stop, he would lower his back and hind legs, stretch the front feet ahead, to stop the momentum and then do a trotting gallop, to finally stop. He did this even when there was a "cut scene" with a colossi.... I hope this gets implemented as well... along with all the hidden tricks you can pull off with Agro. :) Also there was a minor glitch in this demo, when the camera tilted up. Same thing happened in the cut scene with "Gaius", the third colossus in another video... When he hits the ground and pieces start to fall off him, the cut was off center and made a weird jump that was offputting. If the developers can work on improving the camera, it will be all this game needs to be perfect. If you agree, please upvote so the developers can see ;) Edit: There's something wrong with Wonder's eyes, I think they are too big..

I've been a pure Nintendo fan up until Wii then I got into Xbox but I left last year to try PS4 as I'm a single player gamer I decided to try PS as they have lots more choices for gamers like me right now, I'll go where the best experience is for me... So I'm looking forward to this game as it's totally new to me!

Absolutely stunning. Can't wait for this

Well, one of those is 100% in the game. HAIR PHYSICS. Unfortunately, while the grass and leaves do move and sway in the wind, there are no physics when you walk through it.

As much as I loved the original version it's good that they changed the controllers. They were weird and hard to use

Sudesh Sookdeo RDR has the best feeling horses in a game I've played to this day. Skyrim's horses were laughable.

Will Pack Can’t call it competition when Microsoft wasn’t even trying to get exclusive game deals to sell their consoles. As a gamer, I want good games, I can care less about them talking about “true 4k” or “teraflops” or “most powerful console” over and over in every conference. Without games, the Xbox One X is basically just a high end fancy paper weight. Microsoft should learn from the success of the Switch. Weakest console of the generation, still sells well cause of great exclusives. Until Microsoft learns that, I don’t think they can compete with anyone.

looks awesome. surprised they changed the tendrils to pure black. From memory they had a turquoise outline which was an intentional Ueda design choice

Simply a fairy tale. It will be a real joy to gallop through the world, climbing the shrine one more time, searching for collectibles and admiring the scenery besides main boss fights. Still remember how the places gave different emotions, some pleased with their beauty, like calming atmosphere of the woods, some scared to ****, like fogged and dark geyser area or final colossus. So glad that today's graphics can deliver more realistic experience and make the game looking more "alive", which it actually deserves.

Kevin Robertson look carefully at 12:50 there’s the moss growing up the side of the shrine, reckon that means we can climb to the top :D can’t wait for it!

I dont know. It looks great, it is clearly a fantastic effort with all new assets, all remade for modern gamers and hd displays. But the lighting and color gamma feels weird. Original game had a more dreamy and surreal atmosphere. Also, i know people now are obsessed with 60fps, but this game having such a janky sub 20 fps framerate back in the day (which was not intentional, due to ps2 limitations) and the extreme use of motion blur was also part of that bizarre and dreamy feeling. Anyways, a superb job remaking this game, but still lacking Team Ico's authenticity, something that will never be remade.

No idea how you can prefer the muddy/blurred look of the original. This is as authentic a remake as you are gonna get for a 2 generation old game. I think most will take this new clarity and level of detail very happily.

Well, the art director of the original was also the actual project director, who is a painter, whose style looks like the games he makes. The dude uses video games to paint. It's an approach still preserved in Last Guardian, which isn't hampered by the limitations of the PS2's hardware. This new version of SotC is very technically impressive, but it's like a realism-style artist remaking a surrealist's design. It's just not going to have the same purpose or personality. It will be an expression of a different kind of mind. I'm sure down the line this remake will also be heavily appreciated, but for separate reasons.

Were Team Ico not consultants on this remake? I’d think they would be, it’s their baby. I’d imagine this is fairly close to what they originally envisioned, and would create today, had they the technology.

Day One purchase no doubt! Game brings back such great memories of how visually and emotionally a game can be back in the PS2 days.

Wow. I am so excited for this game and so proud of the developers for completely starting over again from the ground up. This gameplay looks stunning and I can see why people always say this game is their favorite.

SOO many memories of coordinating with the gamefaqs community back in the day on ps2 version and scouring literally every inch of the forbidden lands looking for clues to the 17th colossus...

12:50 so glad the path to climb the shrine of worship is back

So many ungrateful people in the comment section honestly, When ever it comes to remaster you always have those idiots that complain for anything just be grateful they took the time to actually remake a classic.

I beat this game so many times I can't even count. But I put at least up to 700 hours into it on PS2. I can't wait to play this again.

I beat every colossus except for the very last one. I can't wait to see him again.

I've beat the original PS2 and touched up PS3 version already. I wasn't planning on getting it a third time, but wow, I might have to just to show friends who've never played before. This is a true remaster, gorgeous.

The horse in movement looks amazing

I'm impressed with how Wander moves in the same way even though they remade the animations from scratch. I was hoping he would grab one of the doves in the shrine.

Honestly, I seriously doubt they remade EVERY animation from scratch. It'd be way too much work for just one to three animators working on the team and most importantly most of the animation look just way too similar. I think it's much more believable that they took the old animations and just ported them into the new models and tweaked them wherever needed. Much less work and the game looks the same so nobody complains about it changing too much. Plus the original animations where honestly god-tier already so no need to change anything.

I wish Wander still had hair physics like he does in the other 2 games. It’s so stiff now! Other than that, he looks great!!!:D

Exploring the entire map to see all the changes will be just as exciting as taking out the colossi. Plus we will probably be able to climb or jump onto places we couldn't before. I can't wait to see what the new Secret Garden looks like.

It's as much an experience as a game to win. The slow pace is a big part of the appeal. Let yourself explore the world. It's worth every frame.

I played and did not finish the original, and wasn't impressed enough by the PS3 remaster to buy it. This remake is exactly everything I could have hoped for.

He didn't finish it due to graphics, just in an indirect way. Why would he care now that it looks prettier? It's the exact same game just updated graphically, which is the only reason why this person's interested in it. It is an incredibly petty reason to not play a game.

This game is looking Lit!!

Bluepoint are an outstanding studio. I love the way that they anticipate what gamers want, & provide us with plenty of options. They put many of their peers to shame in this & many other regards. Every remaster that they have produced has been of the highest quality. With this, they look to have outdone themselves. I cannot wait to play it.

Love how it looks overall, I just think Wander's face looks weird compared to the original and the hair doesn´t move as much, asking for them to change the face at this point may be impossible but I hope the hair can be fixed before release :), it's just amazing, makes me happy to own a PS4, great job Bluepoint!!!! :D

2 things missing in my opinion: Water splashing and collision with bushes (they should move or resist not just pass through players or horses model)

@@MrBenedick14 Are you kidding...? Most games today have these collisions, water splashing has been the norm for a long time, and especially for a game that is specifically designed to look amazing, it is a must-have.

Wander's hairstyle looks so neatly combed in this version. I personally liked the spiky original but whatever. I'll bear with it...unless Bluepoint Games has the original hairstyle as a secret or Wander's hairstyle also changes the more colossi he kills. But then this is the 8th colossi and it still looks neat.
