We're at the point in metal where more and more bands are multi-blending sounds within the genre and going outside of what people expect from them, so I can definitely see a lot of surprises on this one.

its not as bad as most deathcore for sure, it was unethical not to say "FEATURING THE Guy From FleshGod" - it is SO MUCH a part of the music, he really is another member of the band, and a primary one at that

We are at the point that when people say "metal is thru" I just show them this, or Enslaved, Black Crown Initiate, Ihsahn, Leprous and just shut them up.

I wasn’t sure how I’d describe the “change” in this S O I record. It definitely has a darker and heavier edge to it. That may also be the better mix. What I like about this, is while it’s still melodic tech death. It’s definitely progressed down a more black(ened) route and it’s resulted in a more complete, heavier sound. While still being tech death as balls.

I will be straight forward honest. I don't like deathcore in general and not more ''Shadow of Intent'' in particular. I came here today, first because I like banger tv of course, but I also like Riley and it is refreshing to not have (again) ''have I all the attention now?'' Blayne Smith on another video of BangerTv. Riley is intelligent, well articulated, warm and engaging, down to earth and not there to be the ''star of the show'' or anything. ... oh and, of course, she has in general really fucking great taste in metal (well ... maybe not in this particular instance though hehe) \m/ Sébastien (from the province of Québec).
