Bro Im a kibo main and according to me kibo's sudden trick is very very effective against camper. Whenever campers see that kibo has a full shadow bar they refuse to get to near kibo because they are scared of thousand cuts but they won't stop at corner they will hold their back button so they will pretend to go back even if they are colliding with a wall. So if you use sudden trick at that time this will be a 99 percent chance that they will not expect this and sudden trick will land. Only if their reflexes are very very strong then only they can counter it with as upward jump kick as they won't have time to decide as they might be thinking that the kibo will do thousand cuts.

Tips with sarge (or any other legion that has the same up kick): instead of jumping to avoid protection kick you can use up kick, it's eay faster (works after up attacks and some criticals, but wouldn't recommend after grabs)

Whenever I try to hop,I keep going behind the enemy ,it happened to me when I was playing against a skilled player,campers are easy to grab but I couldnt grab the player which was playing just like me ,I hoped towards him but instead my character ling went behind his sarge ,this happened to me 4 times in a row xD idk what is happening
