GGs! You were in the original cut for this vid but it was a bit too long so unfortunately our battle was one that I axed.

It takes so much skill to play teams like these. I think it's funny when people watch triple shadow team content and think they can pull it off and then I run into those players on the rank ladder and they lose because they don't know what they're doing and I think about all the stardust they spent on making a team that requires actual skill to play.

I know! One of the teams that he lost to S-Dragonite, Vigrth, Mantn… belongs to another KZreadr… it becoming very popular team to use I see!

08:12 - it is IV dependent. For example if the opponent Dragonite was a 0/15/4, it would survive with 2 HP and a Dragon Claw loaded against your 0/9/10 Dragonite (according to pvpoke sim)

Sure that might be the case for that specific scenario, but that's not what happened in this video. Watch in 0.25 speed you'll see we should KO at the same time if the game worked properly

@@CallumOnToast Very true. It should have been a simultaneous KO but your final dragon breath didn't register on the opposing d-nite. It's pretty clear when you slow it down. I just simultaneous KO'd in UL with mirror Guzzlord's and my IV's were worse but the damage was about equal so it was a double KO.

@@MontesDawg the point I made in commentary is that with 1 turn fast moves you don't get a simultaneous KO. The damage from one just won't register. You can get simultaneous KOs in other mirrors

I’m gonna twist the QOTD and say that I’ve been running a Shadow Smack Down + B/Swipe-Superpower Rhyperior on the lead and so many people if either safeswapped into a flier or swapped into a Vigoroth and not respect the Superpower both result in immediate top left

Qotd: I’ve been having a ton of success with breloom as a closer. So funny when the opponent’s last 2 mons are vig and cash and they just top left.

Hahahaha I’ve been running it so much, running it in the lead to build up some energy if i get a relatively good lead, catch on safe swap, build up some more and yeah, energy on shadow exca is literally devastating to everything! I’m Having the most fun I’ve had in a long time running a Pokémon. Gonna keep running it everywhere, even after this cup! Screw whiscash! Just save shields for the mole for gods sake or it will go down instantly😂

I think this video convinced me to drop Buzzwole and pick up Dragonite. Buzzwole is fun but it just costs me too many leads. And people have wisened up to Whiscash with blizzard lol. Plus it’ll be nice to have something to deal with all the double grass/ghost backlines I’ve been facing.

Try quag and ariados core with your choice of a third. Sounds like its not a good team but ive actually been winning a lot. If they have an altaria lead go straight stone edge

2:16 hes not entierly wrong. By going straight surf you win the 1 vs 0 sheilds as you do live the second dragon claw and depending on ivs sometimes they dont make it to 2 dragon claws meaning you win the 0s. Id still bait tbolt tho

You can type in your ivs on pvpoke when you teambuild and it will show the rank

QOTD: shadow charizard. He is my MVP, I managed to go 14-1, and shadow charizard 1v3d like 4 times. If he has an energy advantage or a shield up, it destroys nearly everything

I like sweeping with Talonflame and Brave bird. I always lure out the Lanturn early. It’s not the best way to climb… but who cares(and it’s 50/50 if fly or bravebird is better) … it is satisfying to oneshot other talon flames, or close to one shot a whiscash if you have + 1 attack. I hoped for more grass in this cup, but Lanturn whiscash is so dominant this season it let me stuck in the 2600-2800ELO…. Sometimes I can overcome this really bad match ups, but not often enough (and the new mechanic isn’t my friend and alway cost mit 1-2matches/day but close to never work to my favour. If I could change something it would be scald… it does way to much Dmg for that high debuff chance… and if flips so many matchups just by a coinflip.
