@@brendadotter4433 SPOILER I know he is revived in King of Scars but they changed the story so much that you don't know what will happen. Beyond that, for me, in S2 they ruined The Darkling's character because they make him look very weakened for having used Merzost, however Alina and her allies see him as a real threat, although the final fight between them is very bad and goes unnoticed since it happens in the middle of the chapter and it is supposed to be the central theme. It's too bad because the S1 is so much better and the plot is much closer to the first book.

Ikr😭 He seemed more excited about the ending of the first season. They make the relationship between The Darkling and Alina very poorly and prefer to completely change Mal's character to be flawless🥱

@Bianca he's always talk about Aleksander and Alina bound, connection before season was dropped, just for their screentime together was barely there And Mal.has flaws though, his character was blend and uninteresting

@@zackyvwasin339 yes, I agree, even in the show his character still blend but what I mean here is when compared to the book version. In the book he doesn't give a fuck about Ravka, he just wants to be with Alina and always sulk like 5y.o child, when they can't spend even a minute together. He also said rude things to Alina meanwhile on the show seems like they wanted to get rid of it so that people would be more sympathetic about him. The chemistry with Alina also seemed too forced even all the couples on the show stole much more attention with less romantic scenes duration they all had. I just don't understand why they wasted so much effort on making Mal look better for this boring character when they could have focused more on Darklina bound! I honestly wasn't even excited about the next season. Especially if they waste Darklina just for his poor character building

I LOVED THE ENDING. I am sorry, as much as I like Ben, I cannot get over the fact that the Darkling abused so many people. Alina not submitting to him anymore, is wonderful.

How will we love now that the show is cancelled 😭
