Alhamdulillah I got married in a very young age . I just did my last 12 th exam n the next day was my nikkah .. our nikkah was done in masjid and next day walimah.. wallahi wallahi the more simple you make nikkah the more barakah and happiness you get in Alhamdulillah... Though I don't have any degree but studied alot and benefiting my family and known one.. My husband really make me feel like Queen.. May Allah always bless everyone with everlasting happiness and satisfaction Ameeeen

I got married in 1995 and came to the U.S. after couple of years when I went back to Pakistan, everyone old young were intermingling and dancing with full force on shaadi days .I was amazed to watch the change of culture

This is what lead to the partying youth in pakistan parents were encouraging this at that time. I am also offended how this is now normal in Pakistani families. marriage something so pure turned into dance party. West is def a better place to live as we don’t become Slaves to this.

الذُّنوْبَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ) ✒----------------------- 🍀 (اللَّهُمَّ مَا أَمْسٰي بِيْ مِنْ نِعْمَةٍ أَوْ بِأَحَدٍ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ فَمِنْكَ وَحْدَكَ لاَ شَرِيْكَ لَكَ، فَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ وَلَكَ الشُّكْرُ) ✒----------------------- 🍀 (اللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِيْ فِيْ بَدَنِيْ، اللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِيْ فِىْ سَمْعِيْ، اللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِيْ فِيْ بَصَرِيْ، لاَ اِلَهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ. اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّيْ أَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْكُفْرِ، وَالْفَقْرِِ وَأَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ، لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ)..... 3 مرات ✒----------------------- 🍀 (حَسْبِيَ اللَّهُ لاَ اِلَهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَهُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيْمِ).. 7مرات ✒----------------------- 🍀 (اللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّيْ أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَفْوَ وَالْعَافِيَةَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَاْلٰاخِرَةِ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَفْوَ وَالْعَافِيَةَ فِيْ دِيْنِيْ وَدُنْيَايَ وَأَهْلِيْ، وَمَالِيْ اللَّهُمَّ اسْتُرْ عَوْرَاتِيْ، وَآمِنْ رَوْعَاتِيْ، اللَّهُمَّ احْفَظْنِيْ مِنْ بَينِ يَدَيَّ، وَمِنْ خَلْفِيْ، وَعَنْ يَمِيْنِيْ، وَعَنْ شِمَالِيْ، وَمِنْ فَوْقِيْ، وَأَعُوْذُ بِعَظَمَتِكَ أَنْ أُغْتَالَ مِنْ تَحْتِي) ✒----------------------- 🍀 (اللَّهُمَّ عَالِمَ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ فَاطِرَ السَّمٰوٰاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ، رَبَّ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَمَلِيْكَهُ، أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لاَ اِلٰهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ، أَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ نَفْسِيْ وَمِنْ شَرِّ الشَّيْطانِ وَشِرْكِِهِِ وَاَنْ أَقْتَرِفَ عَلٰى نَفْسِيْ سُوْءًا أَوْ أَجُرَّهُ اِلٰى مُسْلِمٍ) ✒----------------------- 🍀 (بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الَّذِيٍْ لاَ يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ فِي ا ْلاَرْضِ وَلاَ فِي السّمَآءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيْعُ الْعَلِيْمُ).... 3 مرات ✒----------------------- 🍀 (رَضِيتُ بِاللَّهِ رَبًّا، وَّبِالْإِسْلاَمِ دِينًا وَّبِمُحَمَّدٍ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَبِيّاً) 3 مرات ✒----------------------- 🍀 (يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّوْمُ بِرَحْمَتِكَ أَسْتَغِيْثُ أَصْلِحْ لِيْ شَأْنِيْ كُلَّهُ وَلاَ تَكِلْنِيْ إِلٰى نَفْسِيْ طَرْفَةَ عَيْنٍ) ✒----------------------- 🍀 (أ مْسَيْنَا وَأَمْسَي الْمُلْكُ ِلِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ، اللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّيْ أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَ هٰذَهِ اللَّيْلةِ فَتْحَهَا وَنَصْرَهَا، وَنُوْرَهَا وَبَرَكَتَهَا وَهُدَاها وَأَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا فِيْهَاوَشَرِّ مَا بَعْدَها) ✒----------------------- 🍀 (أَمْسَيْنَا عَلَى فِطْرَةِ الْإِسْلاَمِ، وَعَلَى كَلِمَةِ الْإِخْلاَصِ، وَعَلَى دِينِ نَبِيِّنَا مُحَمَّدٍ صلى الله عليه وسلم، وَعَلَى مِلَّةِ أَبِينَا إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَنِيفاً مُسْلِماً وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ الْمُشرِكِينَ) ✒----------------------- 🍀 (سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ) 100 مره ✒----------------------- 🍀 (لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيْكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ)100 مره او 10 مرات او مره واحده ✒----------------------- 🍀أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللهِ التَّامَّاتِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ🍀, ( 3 مرات ✒----------------------- 🍀 (أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللّٰه وَأَتُوْبُ إِلَيْهِ) 100 مره This Rabbana dua is mentioned from Surah Furqan (chapter 25) ayat 74. رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَاجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّاتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعْيُنٍ وَاجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا rabbana hablana min azwaajina wa dhuriyyatina qurrata A’yunin waj’alna lil- muttaqina imama

Alhamdullilah, I'm glad I listen to this. Love to hear Tuahas logic and how he encourages one to live with Islamic values and puts them into context. Makes me feel I missed out on so much, but feel glad I still have the opportunity to make a difference in my life. Don't have the words to express how his words affect my direction in life; totally relate to his wisdom.

I left Pakistan 26 years ago. Alhamdulillah we have lived in the UK, Dubai and now in Switzerland and yet I cannot relate to this discussion. Can Pakistan change to this extent that we are talking about girlfriend and boyfriend. I am feeling blessed that as a mother of four Alhamdulillah I my kids have not been through such difficult situation. May Allah swt protect and guide all the children. Ameen

Points to be noted: 1- You can't start a haram relationship thinking of it will become halal one day. 2-Jo chiz start hi haraam se hui hai, it will never become halal.

Those parents who want to have simpler weddings are then forced to overspend to save their daughters dignity. These parents are then caught in a trap thinking their daughter will face hardships after the marriage if they don't have these lavish weddings parents do everything they can to impress the grooms side. This is also another problem which wasn't addressed. These poor parents fear "UNKI BEITI DUBB KE NA REHJAYE" " TANAY NA MILAY" for a simple wedding and what's worse is these parents hesitate to even discuss to have simpler wedding as it might bring conflict with the grooms side. We are not only influenced by the west we have our own cultural issues. May Allah make it easy on every parent. Ameen

What is wrong is wrong! We need to take strong stand against such actions and try to stop others too... Normalize simple and islamic wedding so much so that these expensive wedding look odd! Inshaa'Allah may Allah help us all...
