What a powerful song! To this day, it resonates the uncertainty and fear we are facing today. I find comfort in this song that it shows the never-ending search for truth and a better world. Back then, the world seemed kinder and so innocent. We simply must remember to love and help each other to a higher place of acceptance and understanding. Thank you for sharing and caring.

Its hard to believe 3 of them are now gone - time is the cruelest of them all I think. Whenever you use the word beauty its nearly always associated with women but Davy Jones was a beauty in his day!

Beautiful song. Beautiful tribute. I’ve had lots of crushes during my life, but Davy Jones has always been and will always be one of the special ones.

I loved watching them but if I'd only realized the significance of what I was witnessing and how terribly I would long for that gentle, silly, wholesome way of life in the hateful chaos that they call entertainment today, I would have held it even dearer to my heart. We were so, so fortunately blessed. 🎼🖤

This has always been one of my favourite Monkees songs... And they made it a great tribute to Davy! But damn, that third empty microphone made me cry so hard. I love them all, but Davy was the heart of the group.

Marc Morgan, thank you for posting this video. The Monkees apparently a part of our childhood , and I watched every episode I could even when it was in reruns, Peter sounds so sincere. I remember seeing the four smiling faces doing silly things and the more silly there were the better it was. Maybe the Monkees show was meant to be stopped after two years. Some shows stay too long and lose its spice. the Monkees had plenty of spice and had what I would call a perfect mix of ingredients. I miss Peter, Davy, and Mike. they made great music and i wish the Rock and Roll hall of Fame would come to their senses and induct the Monkees, Quintuple Platinum and they sung the own songs should mean something

At 3:25, in 1986 me and several other fans went to see the Monkeemobile, no, it had no top on it, we walked around it twice - as close to it as we could get I was one inch from it, we were afraid to touch it, I guess) when we were done several other fans replaced us ... 😊

I was a child when I saw The Monkeys on TV in my country. Then, I think to myself, I wanna be a rock and roll singer! After, I listen The Stones and The Beatles and...well, "time waits for no one"! The times go so fast and I'm an old man now. And...I still listen Rolling Stones songs but, today, "time is not on my side", what more can I say? ...so sad, so sad! "Meus heróis morreram de overdose e meus inimigos estão no poder", said a song by "Cazuza" from "Barão Vermelho", from Brasil, 80's.
