​@@alancastro5808 It depends on the day, necros has proved he can "diff" Shadder in real comp game situations to the point shadder goes torb, but there are others where shadder may "diff" necros. It also didn't help that they were putting each other down. Mental is a huge part of gameplay

They went hard on 1vs1 to a point where they lost almost every game.. Worth it

It also showed their play style, once they both turned around. Necros attacked first showing he’s more aggressive, whereas Shatter stepped back, being more patient

This was an amazing spectacle to watch seeing a rivalry of two of the greatest genji players finally going all-out at each other using everything they know. From watching both of these players we see two completely different playstyles, 1 whose playstyle is a very aggressive and using a brawler style type genji, while the other playing a very strategic and flexible genji. One is exceptionally good at extremely fast blades while the other is patient and is an adaptable genji who is well thought out, that is aggressive when they need to be or passive when they need to be. As we saw one is always in the lead at first and has an amazing burst in the beginning but as the 1v1 continues the other slowly learns and adapts and slowly catches up. It's adaptability/flexibility vs strongs bursts/aggressiveness. In my honest opinion: no one TRULY won and no one TRULY lost, this was honestly just a learning experience to examine and learn from to better lower elo genji's to know these playstyles and better yourselves so that HOPEFULLY (BIG HOPEFULLY) we can one day match these guys in skill (DISCRETION IS ADVISED: will probably take a couple hundred years but yeah...) Sorry for such a long comment, I was just really invested in this 1v1 match and acknowledging these two great players at the peak of there craft.

In the Genji 1v1, deflect is the most important thing. Shadder has the best deflects in the game easily. Necros is probably better with dashes and blade, but in the 1v1, shadder cakes

That and I feel like Necros got a little too greedy with his dashes and that ended up costing him big. I love them both, but I lean a TINY bit more towards Shadder.

Being honest, I can feel the flow in Shadder gameplay, as if it's smoother, feels nice to watch. Necros is a hot damn flick ninja. Watch him just to rewatch and think "how da fuk u knew they were there in 0,0003 seconds?" 2 great legends

The true winner in this was Eqo who basically farmed them 4 games in a row, Eqo should probably be the one paying shadder and Necros for boosting him to an easy top 10.

​@@YungSinatraa shadder and necros are both very good players, but when duoing together, they got a bit childish and spent all the games trying to one up the other and proving they are better instead of trying to win seriously. They will always be better separate than together until they learn to overcome the "ego" part of their rivalry. I guess that's just how rivalries go though.

goes to show it's not all about technical skill after all. He can be faster at dashing and stuff, but the better mind wins. I'm still very surprised these 2 duo'd at all. I hope this means outside of this, they're bros. It's a good chance it was just for content though.

Some people perform better under pressure. I know I do. I wouldn't have nearly as many 4 man vanilla blades as I do if I weren't often making them happen in a 1 or 2v5 scenario. The stress makes time slow down and I can just think all of my actions through faster.
