Love your vids....especially how precise your instructions are, even right down to the length of the ribbon to hang the ornament! Thank you for that, some of us are very detail oriented and like exact directions, lol! I know also using inspiration is great, its also nice having percise instructions for when you see something you really like and want it to some out the same! Just love these so much! Wondering if it is better to glue the clay before it's completely dry, or if you jusy didn't want to wait? Can't wait to try tart tins. I wish I had a drill press and bolt cutters, LOL. The other ladies have a high bar to live up to. TFS.

Thank you for your sweet comments, Serena! If I’m gluing to round objects, I want the clay a bit damp to form itself to the curved shape. But you certainly can drape it and let it dry before gluing down your clay. I’m glad hubby has all the tools and knows how to use them! I think all your ornaments you made are beautiful even the little cartoons those are so cute I think if you use them again if you do another DIY try painting them in a real pretty gold just like you did the silver ones I bet they would look pretty in a gold color too for Christmas it just depends what colors people are using in their tree but I think they would look pretty with that color on them too but they came out pretty thanks for sharing it

Oh Rebecca 💖🎄all of these projects are just gorgeous. I may have missed this part, but did you apply paint to the wet clay molds, or let them dry a little before painting?

Thank you Melba! I let the clay set up usually 30 minutes to an hour. It depends on the weather and how quickly they begin to dry; especially the smaller pieces. I hope you’ll make a few, you will love it!

I love your tart tins, I ordered the same ones from Amazon. I am having a hard time opening them up, how did you get yours opened up? I would really like to make some of these for Christmas this year.

Hi Bobbie, and thank you! I put a towel down in my garage and used a rubber mallet, turning them back and forth while gently tapping them open. I had been just using my hands to pry them open, but the rubber mallet is much easier and faster. I’m hope this helps. Happy Crafting!
