Excellent picture overlay. Ryu's hand gesture was interesting. Shabani stairs back like, "I'll tear the hide off you boy." As the kids come out they look to Shabanii as if to say, "is the coast clear or is Ryu throwing rocks today?" Pretty cool that they can see each other. I wish they had more enrichment stations other than the one termite mound. Maybe that would keep Ryu more entertained instead of him throwing dirt at viewers. At least he wasn't throwing Poo. lol

Amazing, both bosses, now we see why Shabani is choosing to keep his family inside. Maybe it wasn’t such a good idea for them to see each other.

Grandma P, I know! The caption during the video would be great to understand! We cant even "copy and paste" to Google Translate to translate what he is explaining because it is a video! UGH! I guess we just have to go by the visual situation to understand. Im with you though. Great video how we see both reactions though. Shabani is chilling for now, I'm sure he will have to posture and do a few chest beats to show Ryu who is BOSS. Shabani seems to be taking it all in for now but i think once his confidence and layout of new home is better understood he will show more dominance. Taking the high road (as i commented above) maybe? He needs to keep his family calm and maybe not to stress them with a "pissing war" with Ryu, ya know? :-)

What a great video. How you showed both bosses reactions as they saw each other was awesome! Gives us detail of what was happening. Shabani didn't seem comfortable at all and very Leary going out after seeing Ryu. I would have thought Shabani would have been displaying a bit with posturing and a few chest beats to try and intimidate Ryu. But I guess Shabani is a lover and not a fighter, huh? :-) Im sure there will come a time when Shabani gets more comfortable & confident in his new home and the layout that we will see him become a bit more aggressive to Ryu if he feels challenged and disrespected by him. Maybe Shabani is trying to keep the peace to avoid added stress to his family and doesn't want to start out on the wrong foot where each time they go outside, it is a war and fighting for control. Who knows, but maybe Shabani is just chilling out for now to see how things happen before becoming more aggressive. No use getting his family scared for no reason, maybe taking the "higher road" and better just to blow off Ryu for now. But it is interesting how Shabani glares at Ryu. Like he is thinking "Really man? You need to step down because I'm the King here, but I will let this one slide." Will be interesting to see how these two coexist now. Thank you for the work you put into this video. It is fantastic!!! Very well done!!

Hi Mary...We seem to follow the same channels as I notice your name everywhere... *: )* I always enjoy reading your comments with the insightful observations you make...I do look forward to seeing how the initial friction between Shabani & Ryu will eventually play out since they're such close neighbors & will be seeing so much of one another...It will be interesting to be sure...Anyway, I wonder what the "kid's" reactions are...New neighbors are, "Friend or Foe"...??? *: )* I'm especially enjoying this particular footage...

Maybe Shabani is trying to figure out what Ryu is🤷🏼‍♀️ maybe the old enclosure they saw each other also, I know you can hear the Gibbons and also when Riki causes trouble in the old videos of Shabani.

Grandma P, I was thinking the same thing. I don't know if they had ever actually seen each other in the previous enclosures. They seemed to look at each other like they were trying to figure out what the other one was and if they are going to make a play for the other one's females. 🤨Like Shabani ever would. He is a gentleman. Although I wouldn't put it past Ryu.

@@GiselSimon the thing is Ryu will probebly call in for the other male chimps to help him, and than Shabani will be at a disadvantage. I don't know if female gorilla's help a silverback in a fight situation.

@@ethical13but also now that Kiyomasa is big now and almost a silver back , they would win . I saw a video of a silver back whooping 5 chimps at once . The Shabani family would definitely win for sure , especially now that Kiyomasa is big too
