Well done on quitting smoking, it's not an easy achievement. Keep up the great work. No need for apologizing for not filming your time off. We all need a break, you work a lot between traveling and editing and to top it all off, sleeping in so many different beds. It can't be easy. Getting a flight to Goa, meeting the bunch and having a great time with them over Christmas (while charging _your_ batteries and without camera!), instead of waiting alone in Mumbai was probably the best decision. Especially since the spare parts are stuck at customs 🥳👍✌

​@@MarcTravels Must have been due to non-payment of duties or paperwork. Had you took help of professional customs handling company it would have got cleared within 24 hours or max 48 hours. Google it you will find many such customs handling companies.

Yeah I was also very sick with the man flu before Goa 🫣

If you are going to the southern part of India,you can visit Bengaluru city, there is an electric bike company, Ultraviolette. Tell them the situation about the bike, they might give u a helping hand to fix the problem n you check the electric bike model as well. It just a suggestion. If you have another plan, then ok... no problem 👍

Glad you took the time off without a camera. Now it feels great to be back on the bike. I went through the same deals when I was doing crosscountry rides. It felt good to walk away for a little while. Then, where the hell is my bike, I'm ready to ride again on my old friend. Interesting travels for certain. The torque is massive on EVE. Camping isn't bad if you don't load it down with things you really don't need. You get in the mountains and a lot of that equipment will come in handy. It's cols no matter what there.

Good to hear that you had a good time in Goa. Funny you are talking about X'mas while here it is Carnaval time already. Sorry to hear that it didn't work out with Zero and I don't understand why these parts are blocked so long at customs. But nothing you can do about that. Drive safe and CU in the next video.

There is a Chance that in his lot some illegal items might have been recovered for whoch customs put everything in that in side. The Customs here in India are very strict when it comes to Automobile parts and Electronics cause recently there were many attempts to smugle H eroine and Gold by hiding them inside Automobile and Electronic parts. And espicially as he said the part was comming from Dubai and Dubai is a hotspot for Smuggling in the region.

It takes a lot to ride such long distances, and that too on an electric, requires perseverance. Keep riding, keep exploring, mate! Wishing you godspeed! 👐🫡

One complaint tho , you never came to the Isle of Man when your were so close . I dont know if i'm right but i think when you charge on 1 phase charger, eve's ecu thinks you are charging on a household plug which has power around 3kw and only uses one charger on the bike, and when you charge on 3 phase charger then ecu knows to maximize charging and uses all 3 chargers on the bike. Also i forgot to write on your last video, i have bought for camping battery powered mosquto led. It charges, last all night, it looks like a large bulb, it has simple led light, and zapper with uv light, also has a hook so you can put it in a tent or a tree branch. It realy helps while camping and i also use it at home when some bugs fly in. Try to find some in electric stores or chinese stores or somewhere. It was around 10euro's. If you want i can send you some photos of it? Also i wanted to tell you if you didn't know, there is a css to type 2 adapter. I think you may need it for future traveling. I have bought from aliexpress type 2 to eu plug and i tried it on ikea, tesla and mercedes chargers and it works so i can charge my electric motor which only has household eu plug charger.

Congrats for so many new Subscribers! Hope you keep in mind by covering the bike overnight, the air vent does need some fresh air when you charge it ;)

I tried to go on a Bike from Delhi to Mumbai and my plan was to travel India but the "No Bikes on Express Way" made me turn around. Mind you, I had a 650cc version and not the small bikes. They need to work on the engine rating and its access.

A bummer that it takes so long for stuff to get through customs and then coordinate with a mechanic. Had hoped to see at least a glimpse of Goa. Well, the journey continues. Ride safe man. 👊🏻

​@@DavidNewmanDrNo you don't have to pay any bribe its just that Customs in India Is Very strict when it comes to Automobile parts , Electronic item the primary reason being there are attempts being made to smuggle Gold and H eroine by hiding them inside Automobile parts / Electronics so these items go thru through checking. Also there might be chance that in your lot the cutoms find something suspicious so they delayed the whole lot. And Dubai is one of the prime locations from where Smuggling takes place. So its like Mexico border control like scenario.

U can visit south India u can see variety of different foods temples heritage and culture especially Kerala and Tamil Nadu it's amazing Kerala, munnar, kochi , wayanad

Hi Marc. First of all, thank you for sharing your experience with us. I know that being alone on this long road with all its problems is very difficult and exhausting. As someone who has been following your videos for a while, I have a suggestion. Maybe if you upload more videos of many people who are along the way, and maybe a short story of these people will add flavor to the food. I know it's hard work, but at least it will reduce the talk of charging, traffic, motorcycle breakdowns and issues that have become very repetitive. thanks again

indian customs is real headache worst customs they take 1 months to process i don't know why tf it takes so long mostly the processing time takes 45 daus for even a mobile phone

It’s the water in the beaches of Western Ghats. It fixes knee pain. Somehow people don’t talk much about it.

Das Bike beschleunigt ja enorm,geil.So ein Bike würde ich auch gerne mal fahren aber der Preis ist schon heftig.Ich hatte eine XT 600 und davor eine Honda 185 XL als Einsteigerbike.Leider fahre ich seit 20 Jahren nur noch Fahrrad,Motorrad ist zu teuer geworden,leider.Ich wünsche Dir weiterhin geile Erlebnisse und geile Touren auf Deinen Reisen. P.S.Toll das du keine Zigaretten mehr rauchst,habe auch vor 12 Jahren aufgehört.

Single phase power (normal in residential settings) should be enough to do 7kW. I know when I installed mine at home, I needed 3 phase to go above 7.

Sorry to hear that your item got stuck in customs and they have not cleared it in 2 WEEKS! But at least you are back in road. Ride safe. You could have made a detour to Kailash temple and Ajanta & Ellora caves. They are some fantastic and ultrasophisticated ancient structures and temples

I was 14 when some kids robbed the brake heads on my bicycle parked down. Ever since the all of my 8 new cycles come home with me on the 1st floor, can't take elevator in monsoons so I carry it up. 😂
