SH&R. Me-1 Road. Menorca Island.

first video in the series of roads in Menorca island. We cross the Me-1 road, across the island from east to west. The origins of the road back to the second century a. BC, when the Roman Empire conquered the Balearics, Caecilius Metellus built a road that united the cities of Magonis (now Maó) and Jamma (now Ciutadella). Since then the road layout has received very little modification. Being Menorca British colony (1708-1782) road was improved and even built a new road known as Kane's road in honor of the governor of the island Richard Kane. In 2001 and 2012 there were several improvements were extended lanes and was diverted away from the Alaior and Ferreries urban centers. It has a total length of 45 kilometers.

VERY nice video, good job! Interesting as well, I don't think I'll ever visit Menorca.

He visto tus últimos vídeos y has mejorado las señales informativas mucho.
