Hello, i've been following your content about Shaolin Pao Chui for almost a year and i'm happy to see that finally, someone is able to portray the true value of this quan. I've learned this quan in '87, and even though i'm specialised in japanese martial arts, i've been cherishing it ever since. I must say that your striking passion for it is inspiring. Keep up the good work!

Very cool! The “monk sitting between two mountains” move you demonstrate at the end of this video is in many Shaolin forms and I always wondered what it meant. Now I have the idea. Thanks!

7:06 in the lyrics provided by Salvatore Canzionieri, he translates as "spread legs, hit ears" but I guess an uppercut would do as well. This move also features in xiao luohan by De Yang. Also before this move, at least in most videos I see, there is also a pull and push after turning around.
"облако несущее семь звёзд" выполняется поочерёдным движением рук, так как подразумевает защиту "обвязкой" корпуса. Вместо фронтального приседания с разведением рук в стороны нужен прямой удар головой в выпаде. Тогда разведение рук имеет практический смысл. Соответственно, следующим движением будет мощный удар двумя кулаками снизу вверх с подстановкой дальней ноги к выставленной вперёд, дополнительно закрывая предплечьями верхнюю часть корпуса. Желаю успехов в совершенствовании.

Why do your techniques look so genius and MMA techniques look so stupid? I suppose they don't train as long (in years) and go for simpler things.
