Wow watching the anime must feel surreal!

I still go back to watch the anime once every few months

Knowing this exists really just hit different

I am reading through the light novels right now and I was doing this exact same thing on Google Maps. I was amazed at the detail in the anime on the locations. I even found the location for the very sad moment in "of a Dreaming Girl" and the café in the background is spot on with the pink signage and white tables outside. Good to see that I am not the only one who thinks like this!

Wonderful! I did the same with my son, about 10 years ago in Nishinomya, for the Haruhi Suzumiya story but just got a few scenes. You can still film someone outside of "Benny's" (Denny's) in Fujisawa, or outside Sakuta's apartment, or the Ueno zoo, or take a train to Kanasawa for the park overlooking the city. I just wish I could find Rio Futaba's house. That is the only scene in the show that I couldn't find.
