I just figured out that the arm sculpt of the grappling guns actually DO come off lol! Its way way better now and can secure the grappling hook perfectly I was stoked!

Nice, you like him? I prefer the McFarlane, but this one is quite nice.

I think Batman injected himself with the Venom toxin in the movie. Gave him that super strength like Bane.

I have to agree. It was florescent green and made him rage and lose control. I'm kinds wondering if he's going to be responsible for the creation of Bane.

I think you might have the grappling launchers facing the wrong way. Those extended portions are the rail system that they extend on from his forearms. I'm surprised they didn't make the ones sculpted on his forearms removable to make room for that. In general I think McFarlane did better. I'm not a big fan of SH Figuarts in general. The likenesses look very plasticy in ways that even Hasbro doesn't look like in their MCU Marvel Legends line and for a Quarter of the cost of an Figuarts figure. I think it's a lack of pigment gradiation on the skin of the Figuarts figures. Even McFarlane does that and it's a saving grace on his toys. .

Nice review, I prefer 7 inch scale so I’ll stick with the McFarlane figure for now, but maybe mafex will tempt me to buy one

The cape is actually removable, and you can easily replace it with a full cloth custom cape to help with the articulation.

But sure what you mean by cap But both shoulder pads and cape hard plastic part comes off easily Remove his head first

His Batarang isn't actually a Batarang, it's his Bat knife, also I believe the Cape can pop off, and the grapple on his wrist is made to be replace with the shooting out grapple

I'm a SH Figuarts fan. I have so many figures from that toy company. I'm definitely going to buy it. The MacFarlane figure is cool but the one I bought had a defect on the cowl.

It's better, but crazy more expensive and smaller.

That's the only thing about S.H.F. they are a little smaller scale with others (scale great with other SHF.) Not to fond of this Batman. But pretty Kool. Good review.

They are too small, inconsistent with each other. Injustice Batman is big, 1989 Batman is tiny!

Yea. I'm waiting for McFarlane to make the 89 Batman to his scale when the Flash movie comes out. Cuz I didn't see any 89 Batman I liked. So I will wait. 😆

Nice figure terrible cape. Face paint could of been better both masked and unmasked. Grapples are backwards but still looks awesome. They need to get rid of the bendy wired capes.

I don’t mine the wires, but the plastic part at the top is hideous.

The cape connection on this figure looks absolutely atrocious, the plastic cover on the upper back/shoulders snd then the cloth extension looks really cheap like a Mattel figure

For me it’s how hindered they are because of the cloth material they use. You have to be very careful about posing them. Their almost like second hand value brand hot toys without any of the hot toys quality. But also $. Also even though I think all that I do have the Mezco Batman on pre order.

Mafex look way better imo
